Just stumbled upon a video of the guys truck getting recovered. Not sure why anyone would venture out to where this guy did. Crazy!

Do you need to disturb the ARB bumper when swapping the fender?

Yeah for the number that are out there I don't see a lot of complaints about them.
Seems simple and well built enough...
Easier than I thought, to reach in from the top to get to the clutch lever, so no cutting required.
Lets hope I never have to really put it to the test. ;)
Maybe the occasional Jeep stuck in the flowerbeds at Starbucks or something...

Oh first burn of the new year, :bananadead: I deserved that

Nice! Wonder if you can work it right into the windshield cowl
Nice! Wonder if you could do another 90deg bend and work it into the space below the windshield cowl

I could, but don't plan on it yet. Cutting into core support is different from hacking cheap fenders.

Wait till you see what I am wrapping my fender with, #jdm

Any metal shop sells it, just need 90 elbow like this https://www.amazon.ca/Universal-Per...ywords=90+elbow+4"&qid=1577930728&sr=8-5&th=1

plus a single 3" aluminum tube with a couple of bends and drain holes.

With some thick gloves and some practice you could use one of these and bend/mold PVC conduit into a nice near seamless piece..

PVC heater/bender... can rent them or borrow them from large electrical shops.

Heat gun for small touch ups..

I have access to tube bender up to 3" now, that's why the choice of aluminum sounds better than PVC to me.

If you're building it out of aluminum you should isolate it where it contacts any steel. The dissimilar metals will corrode.

Let’s just get some HVAC pipe for ya. Couple elbows, self tappers and metal tape and you’ll be done in no time!
