The trucks are scarily capable and they can haul ass.
video is a hill climb that this one in particular participates in.
Jump to 3:15ish if you want to see the monster drifting around like it's no ones business.

That Hilux has almost nothing in common with the production truck - it's a custom space frame under the plastic body shell. Didn't "Mini Cooper's" win this class in past years?

Of course it doesn't have anything in common with the normal production trucks. Normal trucks aren't driving nearly 200km/h off road. Mini won it before. If I remember correctly their factory cars were around $1 million US each so doubtful anything beyond the name plate was typical factory equipment. Porsche, Peugeot, Mitsubishi and Volkswagen have also won in previous years. I'm sure others have too.

    Completely unrelated matter.

Anybody else getting lightning and thunder during the downpours this morning? I love thunderstorms! Rare winter treat.

No. Been up since 4 and just spurts of rain. Just cloudy here now. Nothing like they said would happen.

Nice and warm last night so took a cutoff wheel to the Smittybuilt hook...

Put on the Sidewinder doo-dad thingy...

Lol that Mr. Heater I'm using in the garage, when it gets low on diesel fuel it really lets you know,
pressure into the combustion chamber drops and it only half burns,
so it then put out all these half burnt diesel fumes and soot.
    :Cough:

Just rain and mild. It will go down to freezing tonight, or close to it. Might be interesting tomorrow.

My poor maple tree has been collecting ice over an hour now, with another 24-hrs of non-stop freezing rain to come. It’ll end with ice pellets, followed by snow midday tomorrow.

Glad the Taco is parked indoors today.

Oh wow. In Guelph now and it's 5 degrees. It was 10 a little over an hour ago.

    What area are you in?

Modified the level of gas in the tank
At 9:15 this am it was 9.7 c. By 9:45 it was 4.4 and now is 2.6. This is just south of sarnia. Get ready for heavy steady sideways rain, with rapid drop in temps...it's coming your way. The further north the more impact. Brace for it gents

Well I'll be. This will be the first time the Weather Network has predicted the second coming of Christ with accuracy.

I’m in Shelburne, our weather is usually ‘more’ than the GTA. More wind, rain, cold, snow, all of it.

+10/11 C in hamilton with a light sprinkling every now and then...

Opps one of my palm trees dropped a frond,
I'll have to pick that up later when I tend to the cactus garden...

Don't know what you ladies are complaining about...
