don't take this away from me.
    I need this...

the only other thing i have left is that my truck runs on "31s" even though they're nominally "30.5s"... i don't even have a lift kit or spacers or anything
    just please...

My bad, its just that I consider a skid plate something you can jack the truck up on.

Your coffee filter would not support that effort. :alien:

    i don't drink coffeemaxresdefault.jpg

i'm thinking of RCI plates or CBI, but there is the Canadian guy that might make steel plates on the same design this year

Speaking of which, found this... anyone head of costal offroad? $400 for a full set of steel

It bolts right in, but you'd need a jack to change the oil filter... unless you are acrobatic with your arm and go in from the side.

Lol that mud puddle is a little deceiving isn't it!

With all that slush and mud it would have really made my open diffs just "shine" ,
lol reminds me I should put those new mudflaps on today.

So you guys gonna make us wait till Monday? Aww man,

As I stood in a power distribution room Thursday night,
that sounded and looked like one of Tesla's laboratories,
And after making a bunch of calls and realized no-one else wants to tackle this impending bomb,
I realized I am relegated to not even being able to enjoy a weekend away.
    I was thinking " F'ck I can't even NOT plan a weekend off".

These are just like any other breaker or disconnect switch, electricians are taught about these things...
these are just 10-20x bigger.... Actually easier to work on... but seems like no-one wants to touch them. Lol

I ended up doing an emergency stripping down and cleaning and repair of a 2000A power distribution system for an apartment building Friday,
till I don't know when as I just woke up.

I'll tell you one thing though, cranking up and closing a 2000A breaker...
and there is that big wham-clunk of the contacts slamming home...
even though I know it's coming...
makes me think that life was safer on active duty in the Army.
Than after closing all the 600A disconnects and waiting by the room's door,
for all the automatic transfer switches from the generators to cycle...
Second guessing myself that I have all the phases matched....
I glad the building supers helped us take our tool carts back to the truck as I was too tired to even climb the car ramp upto the ground floor.
Adrenalin crash made me feel like I was 120 years old. Lol

Kept peeking in here hoping to see some calendar worthy pics of our daredevil team members having a blast....

and all I get is one tiny mud puddle pic...

C'mon get those pics up for us no-life Mall Princesses that have to live vicariously through your mud!

    That's not mud!

Looks like a minivan splashed you at the local Starbucks...

BTW did you put new tires on your truck? They look smaller in that pic.... Are those 32's?

Got a little buck wild leading today. Had a good line, something under the snow had other plans. Guess getting re-posed on any overland instagram pages is out of the question now :angrygirl:
