I'll be in Detroit the weekend of Feb. 21-23, and I live just North of Acton (not that far from Kitchener), and I'll be dropping my niece off in Hamilton on the 23rd too. 2 birds, one TW Express courier!

Let me know if the timing works for your guys.

So I know this is not ya'lls section, but anyone have any info or know anyone who might know where a couple of guys can find primitive campsites near/in
Highwater, Quebec? Would be end of March, coming from the US. Or if there is a Quebec thread and I am blind, please let me know.

I know Quebec has an endless list of ATV/ snowmobile trails with campsites along side em, but this would be a few years ago when i spoke to a few ATV guys and i have no idea where or what the places are called anymore

Mont Tremblant is the only spot i know of that has a bit of everything. It's the East-coast equivalent to Banff out in BC.
lots of snowboarding/ skiing locations, hiking/ snowshoeing, camping/yurting, etc but i don't believe they have "off-road" trails of any sort, maybe nothing more than hiking and bicycle trails, as it is a national park. and even then, it's a looooooong ways away from your spot

    @Tocamo @Darb042 @Little Blue Truck
you guys are round up by Ottawa, you know of any spots?

Yeah not even looking for offroad trails really, just looking for a spot at the end of a dirt road we can camp at/off of. We are snowboarding Jay Peak for a couple days, I found free camping at a VT state park 45 mins away, but it would be cooler if we could make it an international trip with some Canadian camping. All searches of the area leads to private/pay camp grounds.

    Thanks for chipping in,

Ah that's fair enough, wasn't too sure what you had in mind, but sadly i can't be much of any help. Maybe someone else in the forum might know of a spot, last thing i can pitch in is try checking out any land-use atlas maps for Quebec for a slot of crown land that's nearby where no one can bother you.IIRC something like 90% of Quebec is crown land anyways, so you might be able to find something
Other than that - i'm out of idea :sorry:

If you find anything on your end, give us a shout. we'd love to add it to the list :D
    good luck searching

i bought a generic set from amazoom for $65 to see if i like it or not, have it mounted in the chin with the Cali Raised bracket, Really enjoy the main bar is really nice in the middle of the night in cottage country.

Don't use the pods and don't think i will either, since the ones i got are much bulkier than i thought they would be. also i don't have mounts for it. Sadly can't make much of an opinion on it:notsure: might wire them up to be rear facing once i get the rear rack completed.
if you need pods and want low profiles, take a look at 2x1 row or 2x2 square. in terms of brand names, it's hard to say as everyone has an opinion on what is "the best"

so found some use for the old engine bay splash guards.

Apparently they are the perfect material to be cut and inserted into an L-track to prevent the fittings from rattling around

Technikally speaking...a Soviet is a member of the Soviet Union commonly known as the USSR. USSR collapsed before the Red Praetorian Communist known as Evgeney was born.

    He's Russian

That's a lot of drama for a difference of two inches.
