I had a couple beer with my mom and dad tonight on their deck while my dad barbecued. Glad to be able to spend quality time with them considering their age, and especially glad I didn't have to drive.

I agree, I only live a few blocks from my parents. So we walk over with the dogs for dinner and drinks with them every now and then. Has been a few months since this thing hit that we have gone over... We have it planned for this week again.

Way to quote an old ass post hahaha.
Ya it was figured out long ago with Jake.
The OEM one has ridges under it that get in the way. There's some spots you can stand it but not everywhere.

I'm pretty sure I'll be getting a soft top soon just for camping

When you write your MP, remember these are rifles and shotguns used for recreation and sport. These are not weapons, nor are they "assault rifles."

This is MY sport or your sport. My rifle(s) are like someone else's golf clubs, a different club for a different shot, a different tool for a specific purpose. If some of you are like me you probably got your first BB gun or Pellet gun as a kid and went from there. Any of the people I have known and shot with for 30 plus years have never spoken a violent word let alone committed a violent act. How are we always being equated with criminals and psychopaths...? The safest place I know is on the Range, driving there is scarier!!

That's all for now, it's a beautiful day, time for some lakeside sitting. :rasta:

    @pete37 Are you guys open?

Tried calling today but the # posted on google just goes to a fax machine after about 5 rings....

Got circle jerked by 4wheelparts and gave up on them,
so I thought I'd give you guys a call (which I probably should have done in the first place, even though it's a longer drive :) )

Pete will be worth the wait. He's given me a great deal and went the extra mile for some wheels and tires for me. Keep trying, your wallet and truck will thank you

Have had great luck with pete
Have had great luck with 4wp too.
Had some horrible experiences with parts all over from crappy tire and partssource to smaller places.

After a while I learned dont take any parts situation personally.

Some will piss you off and some will bend over backwards to help you.

I know you know this, just saying.....

I’ve had good experiences with 4wp too and terrible with Just Jeeps. I think sometimes it depends on the individual.

    Agreed
(well never dealt with Just Jeeps).
And they all have their off days and you don't see what happens behind the scenes...

Lol but sometimes you have to just walk away... makes more of a point than trying to explain the obvious.

Oh cool place, stop by Grandma's kitchen there, they make the best Beluga .
That way when you take your niece and nephew to Marineland you can say "I ate his cousin, was delicious"
Just don't try the "stinky flipper". Trust me... Would knock a buzzard of a shitwagon from 10 paces.

Yeah, and sometimes they are just a-holes. Just Jeeps had some fenders for me, my name and credit card for them, and I called and talked to them before leaving home to say I was on my way and would be there in a little over an hour to get them. When I arrived the guy said they were sold. He said a buddy of his came in before I got there and needed them, and he didn’t think I was really interested. That was probably 20 years ago. I’ve never order anything from them since.
