Wasn't there a story of your German counterparts snickering at the TMG?

And neither of those did a thing on a Tacoma, it's got minivan engine and slushbox that can't decide what gear to shift in :brianr:

My friend we could give you a nice new shiny T-90 tank for one day...
and you'd bring it back with a big dent by sundown.
(and complain that the tracks were too small)

Go ahead, deny it, _without smiling_crossing fingers...

You're just jealous of Hammertown, we get the off-road experience just going to Lowes,
While you smooth roaded Missi-sausagers have to circle the Wallfart just to get a speed bump.

Ahhh, is that where all the Russians get their gold embroidered Adidas stuff?

My friend had a 79 Ford Wagon and I had a 83 Chev wagon that would have kept up with your Subaru!

It's amazing how well a "floor it 4x4" can make it on the trails running on pure "I don't give a f$ck" traction aids.

You can always have more fun and get a lot farther when you don't have to worry about going home pretty. :D

We tried to kill those cars and they just would not die...
So yeah, you can bust my balls that I've wheeled harder in a wagon than I have in my Tacoma. :anonymous:

I love my shiny truck and cars,

BUT I still have on my bucket list to build a nasty, rusty, no electronics, levers for everything, rattling, shaking, smoking 4x4 rat rod.
Half roadster and half rock buggy. Will offend environmentalists and Karens for 4 city blocks.

I thought you had a manual? Maybe you should check for a loose nut behind the shifter! Or did you break that too?

Mine shifts great and always at the right time too!
Not sure why all you other guys have issues..
    Must be loose nuts....

    Mini-van engine?
I looked under my good and saw a truck engine in mine!
Poor Guy why didn't you get the Turbo Diesel option?

Here we go, I found the place you should really be vehicle shopping at.
No Slush Boxes, No Mini Van Engines ...
All would put your subaru to shame at Minden.
    Some have 35+" tires stock!
Even you would have a tough time putting in dents on some of these.....

Never need to break out the toothpaste.... never dent your rockers.... could sell your winch!

Sorry for the newb question. Is there only one bearing to replace when doing the ecgs swap, or is there one per side? I only see people ever talking about and doing the drivers side (youtube). Is there a passenger side bearing as well?

unfortunately i am finding this to be true..

i didnt drive my truck last 2 winters (except winter wheeling) thinking i would keep the body/ frame/armour as rust free as possible but now feeling like this truck isnt gonna last long enough to worry about it.:(

    Very neat and tidy.

That black water jug though o_O I could not convince myself to get black ones even though they cost less. Went with blue.

i had a black one laying around in the closet for years and i have no idea where i got it. i just use it for gray water (clean water to clean hands with)
it also turns out, i don't have anywhere to put it o_O

Could strap it to the crossbars or to the backrack

Have any of you drilled a hole in your frame? I have SOS skid plates and the transfer case skid requires drilling holes in the frame to mount it. I have ruined 3 drill bits and I'm still not through. I had no idea the frame would be so hard to drill.

I had to drill several holes for my slider install.

Used a floor jack with the drill resting on it, to keep upward pressure. Worked pretty good for a rigged setup.

Ended up going through 2 bits, broke 1.
