I'll humbly admit...IROC is a slush box. Maybe why I don't drive it. Pretty sure I fired it up and took it out to the driveway this year. Ya, pretty sure I did cuz I swept out the garage

You can toggle between adaptive cc and "dumb" cc?

Admitted...buyers remorse on the auto in the truck, but it is what it is. Gotta be a total different animal.
I miss my 85 3/4 ton 4x4 chev with a SBC and a 4spd. I had an 93 3/4 with a Tonawanda BBC in her with a 4spd as well. My 65 with the M21 really tests the ability to "crush" the gears as she is absolutley old school.

Yes..I consider adaptive dumb and the other just plain lazy. I like lazy. I find both take the skill out of driving but the adaptive is plane moronic.

Your opinion. That 3-hour highway drone to the nearest good trail doesn't demand skill, but whatever. I consider adaptive cc one of the redeeming features of 3rd gens over the 2nd gen I had before.

Howdy guys. I'm down here in Buffalo, NY about 5 minutes from the Peace Bridge. I have a warehouse (former BMW junkyard) about 2 minutes from the border. When the world is open we spend a decent amount of time up north, but I understand why anyone wouldn't want to let Americans in during Covid!

    Hey!

Time at the Sundowner doesn't count as "up north" eh

Haha definitely went up there when I turned 19 in 2004.

Did some trackdays at Toronto Motorsports Park on motorcycles and in cars. Never drove Mosport/Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, hope to when the world re-opens.

We were sad the beaches were closed all summer as well.

we can agree to disagree...3 hour highway drone demands attention and skill to comabt the morons...the "bobbers" as I call them. Just like corks in the water bobbing along with out a care in the world. Oblivious of those around them. Adaptive CC allows one to mirror the shit heads.

I’ve got a GM SM465 transmission sitting on the floor in my garage waiting for some future project.

Altons is a good bet..diner food at its best. If its wings and beers your after go see Jules at Otto's at Union and George Urban. Wings and pizza are the best I've had in the area.
