One thing I've learned custom small batch work is $$$$$$

Very little welded the rest bolted for flexibility.

Welds are stronger possibly but they're also brittle and prone to cracking.

    Still itching to try it.

i need the little mag one to start up a smaller hole to let the larger to bolt into. Hammer drills are a bit too noisy. i have the time for a quieter drill.
actually can always use a smaller mag mount one to cut into what i need it to and just fill it with water, and pressurize it with a bit of a shockwave....
hold on, i have a new idea

    Nope, have not looked yet.

Probably bring the rig into the shop tonight and install the new compressor. See if I can figure it out then.

It started after I was pushing through deeper snow, and had a bit of rear axle hop. I always try and stop it from hoping right away, but I was having fun and maybe pushed it a bit while enjoying myself.

    Good to know!

I will be inspecting it all once the ice and snow melts off after the compressor is installed.

That was my plan of action.

No matter what any fabric based thing is gonna be shit to clean, steam carpet cleaners would probably be the best thing to clean it up at least once a year.

Not sure of any good fabric protectors for UV protection either.... might be some out there, but all the fabric I've dealt with is on the inside so... :notsure:

I used the Dr. Beasley's Fabric Protectant in my VW but its so expensive for a small bottle (one bottle was not enough for a 2 door golf). I didn't find it lasted long either.
    https://www.drbeasleys.com/fabric-coating-kit.html

Chemical guys has some convertible top protectant that might work...or maybe just some 10$ scotchguard cans for outdoor furniture.
