    @Joe23 I have to do a bit more research (hasn't been a priority on the purchase list) but one thing is being able to charge them on the road....
    I think I could make the ones you posted work for charging.

    by the way I got my 4wheelparts magazine this week. It was like $700 for a smittybilt src waterproof winch for 800 with rope I think....Check them out for atlas name brands

    I've got my bed plug that works, and they sell cigarette lighter adaptors for the chargers

    I have my inverter in the cap. Just a matter of it standing up and not falling over.

    I can router out a block of wood to hold them upright better and then just mount the wood so it doesn't tip should be good.

    If you guys are looking for trail communication, I'd strongly suggest the FMRS talkie/walkies... I've got them (2) and for $75.00 @ Cdn tire, they are great... work for hunting and get out for a mile or two..!! They are super compact, compared to CB's... NO damn aerials required..!!DSCN1531.jpg

    Here's a pic of the Cobra's I have.... PS... The old handheld CD that I brought to Ganaraska had a 5' aerial that I broke when extending it.... (out dated shit man)...

    for trail, I'd go FMRS... nice and compact.... no external aerial to hit trees, etc....

    Good for a few miles also....!!
