Note 2: It is recommended that you get an appraisal done for valuation purposes. You have invested a lot in these customizations. Having an appraisal confirms fitment and valuation.

^^ Where does one get this done at?:notsure:

thanks for looking at the input, but remember - everyone has a opinion so please take what i said with a grain of salt. My use-cases and plans were and are entirely different than yours. I'm just mentioned the above as i see you going down a similar path i followed and figured to let you know of my findings since TWorld is a bottomless pit of facts, opinions, and guides. there may be 300,000 users on this forum but there are 600,000 opinions over 10 years.

    added an ending blurb you might have missed;
you don't need to put anything in there, i figured i wanted a battery there but i put in a winch controller instead. you might find something else that will suit your need

    Thanks man!

Best Birthday ever, the big 40

Sold sign got put on the house. Went for a 3 hour rip on fire access roads with the wife.

We went to Mattawa on hwy 17, then came home on hwy 11 from Sand Dam Rd.

New Elka's are broke in :headbang:

Thanks for the heads up @llamasmurf as this is of interest to me and the timing is perfect.

    Also wondering about this...

Note 3: Frame modifications are generally not covered.

Guessing a cab mount chop/relocate would qualify as a frame mod. Not sure if that means that trucks with frame mods wouldn't have coverage OR if the frame modification portion itself wouldn't be paid in the event of a claim but all other qualifying mods would.

Have you been on any VMUTS trails lately? I need to know if there is any snow there before I bring the dual sport there this weekend...

Snow is all gone, you are good to take the Dual sport out! I try not to hit the trails to early and make ruts.

But I do know which trails are being logged, I know they will fix those for the logging trucks. So maybe I went down 1 trail

    Thanks!

It'll be a solo ride, so I'll be stuck to the lighter roads/trails. :playball:

I'm going to weld the block onto something like you did and the weld the plate in. Might be easier.

Yeah everyone! Even if you don't think you need it, you need it. Make sure you get in on this and save. Once they are gone, that's it. Well maybe there will be more but you will end up waiting because there might be a plastics shortage. Order yours now!

Yessir, it sure does. Watched ‘em carpet bomb a main thoroughfare by me a couple weeks back. Bare ‘n Dry with 7 degrees outside. So now today we’re snowed in & not a truck to be found. Guess it’s all about the Science. :tinfoilhat:

Fun Fact: Girl Guide cookies go on sale tomorrow. :yay:

Thanks for the bumps on the GB guys!

@tacoma16 for the limit strap bracket mounting. Have you thought about welding to a backing plate then bolting on? I think there was one factory home close already? My thought here is less about permanence but that the welded area on the frame will become greatly more succeptable to rust over a drilled and greased hole.

I recommend everyone buy at least a couple for the family as Christmas gifts, maybe a preemptive spare for when your truck gets stolen, and then 4 more extras.

Considered it. However I’ll be cutting everything off down the road so I’m not overly worried about rust. Especially since I don’t daily the truck so not much of a concern.

plus the back half of my truck has some work done as well.
