Did you guys hear about the fatal accident at the cheese factory?
A photographer was photographing a group of tourists when a huge wheel of cheese fatally ran overhim.

To be fair the entire group was yelling out CHEESE!!!

Have an example for "normal plate bumper"?

I dont intend to do the crazy stuff you guys do (example flex ramp, posing on rocks) i like the more day to day aspect of the bumper. With the trail damage i see on my truck, i dont NEED a high clearence bumper.

I just mean the typical catalog bumpers sold by 4WP: BodyArmor, DV8, Fab Four, and the 4WP Factory house brand. Both @pete37 and I got quarter panel damage in Ardbeg last year. IMO it can happen quite easily.

Concept sketch of the HC mod:

    v852qnqsmBXBu8PFmF7zUa9T3__MiUmp2bboaHnT_ed640aa195198b90d6ea21e5b642c8c48f234acb.jpg

Trim the quarter panel at the red line. Tubing size should be the same as sliders (typically 1.75" x .120" wall).

ooooh that's what you mean. yeah that's and idea that works

that's the thing, i'm not gonna bother with a new bumper. As neat as it is, all i would use it for is for a fold-out table at most. Maybe spend another $1000 for the swing out arms for the tire carrier.

plus the additional weight of the bumper, etc, etc, etc. There really isn't a need for me to get one.

I needed a lift added to the truck, so i would stop destroying the already dented skid plate.
i needed new tires to replace the old KO2s, since i had as i was sliding all over the place in wet conditions.

i want a new rear bumper because it looks cool.
i dont need a new bumper because i haven't destroyed the one i have.
    :pccoffee:

at the end of the day, it's just theory crafting.

i learned how to save every penny i ever make thanks to video games.

y'know that first health potion you find on your desk when you wake up in a prison cell? still got it, untouched, for a rainy day.

Do you notice a decrease in cell phone reception with the ceramic tint?
