And the saints of Boston didn't have the luxury of synthetic winch rope!

So found this at princess auto
    https://www.princessauto.com/en/20-ft-09-in-id-hose-safe-sleeve/product/PA0008859357

For those that want a well priced abrasion guard for their synthetic shackles or winch rope this seems to be the best bang for the buck. They have a bunch of different sizes at princess auto. I’m also going to see to run some heavy gauge wire through this as well.

I got this before, but I found it too big and not to be on there all the time. This is only 10 feet for $20

figured if i have a Blueseas system that's meant for boats, why not look into marine-grade stuff for everything else?
looking at you VHF marine antenna mounts

I'm sourcing parts for diff breather relocate. Send email to order part, get this response

Good day, the part number you supplied does not apply to your 2017 Tacoma. It is for a vacuum union on the intake manifold for a 2004 Tacoma with a 3.4 (you have a 3.5). The part number that you supplied (90404.51319) is $17.25 + tax and would have to come from California and would have to be prepaid and is not returnable.

I recall using this guide and i've not had any issues with ordering from UJT...
though it wouldn't surprise me that that part in particular was used in other trucks/ vehicles. IIRC it's the same union off a corolla?

i found another union part number that might work? Toyota Part# 90404-51026 from this guide

GM wins if you trade in. $2k over MSRP is a small investment for them to get you to drink the potion. Then you’ll be paying into their profit machine forever....or till you sell for a big loss.

Ps. Give your boss my resume, I wanna work for Toyota.

I wouldn’t worry about it. As long it’s not clogged. Just needs to off gas so you don’t blow seals.
