Doing diff breather mod. Feels like the union should be more threaded but I'm at the point where it feels like I'm really cranking on it. I've seen some threads on it and it does look like it goes in more but wondering if I should bother or if it's fine at this point

 

It has to seal...

 

It's a pipe thread i.e. tapered, so it isn't intended to bottom out. Once the union feels tight, stop. Don't want to strip the axle housing.

Used 29 inch aircraft tires are sure expensive….This price includes a brand new two piece rim though……... I needed a spare to minimize downtime as I do have spare axle/hub assemblies That can easily snap in half

I believe these tires are close to $4000 brand new.

Well, I tried to tighten the long bolt for my UCA, but it was already at 85 foot pounds, and it's still squeaking.

SPC asked me to send them a video of it squeaking, and the batch number from the ball joint. We'll see what they say.

 

Hung out with a third GEN this afternoon….The geese fooled us but we sure had some fun… Good thing I bought some pork chops last night.

So new stunt driving legislation is coming into effect tomorrow. The police have now extended their reach with this legislation to include public and private parking areas, industrial land and trails. Next time you pose with a tire on the curb at the mall or take a water crossing too fast you could be busted.

Nothing there mentions flexing in the parking lots. Just stunt driving in parking lots.

 

It depends on what they'll mean by stunt driving at a given moment...
Great tool to get actual offenders but it'll all come down to how they'll use it.
