The OE shackle bolts were tight huh? I had to use my 24" breaker bar on them, and my truck was only 6 months old at the time.

It was the U-bolt nuts that broke them. Broke both adapters on the same U-bolt, one for each nut. The shackle bolts were friggen tight, but the threads were a lot cleaner than the U-bolts. Once I realized I had spares, the 4 1/2” cutoff wheel made quick work of rusted bullshit I was dealing with.

You’re welcome :) I can’t believe it took you this long to swap everything! I sold those to you back in June when you had that broken leaf

Doing the annual slider/skid/frame touchup, also changed the oil and greased the front driveshaft:

I just came back from monday wrenching marathon. Cleaned skids, Diff oils, T-case oil and CRC spray touch ups.
Surprisingly, at 100k I'll need brake pads...

I was changing pads around 200k mark if it wasn't racing car.

    It's my first slushbox though..

I know eh?! I was even off work 7-weeks in Aug-Oct and never turned a wrench (on the Taco...bike, atv and house work interfered).

I "upgraded" my pads at 27k :D Truck still shows less than 28k on the odometer, though by calculation it's over 28k due to the larger tires.

Bumper-to-bumper warranty is dubious when the factory bumpers aren't there anymore, right?

Yes, but there's a 30% chance a leak will occur. :) The tire shop should be able to sell you a rebuild kit or service kit for the sensors: https://www.discounttiredirect.com/learn/tpms-rebuild-kits

I haven't run TPMS since I removed the factory wheels/tires the day after I took the truck home. The flashing yellow light in the gauge cluster is a good reference point for counting 30-sec idle time before departing...

Never too early to get yourself Christmas gifts right?

600 ft-lb loosening torque and 6.0" long. This thing would've made short work of the crank pulley bolt on my Subaru this summer.
