Hit a deer a while back at around 85km/h after it sprinted out of a ditch onto the highway, demello offroad bumper had not a scratch on it no damage to any body sections of the truck. Deer blood and stomach contents exploded in wheel well and down the side as I ran it over. I was able to drive home and to work the next day. Ended up with a bent spindle from driving over it forcing my wheel up so hard it rubbed my UCA and a flat tire the next afternoon from a piece of bone in it. The bumper paid for itself that night.

So what you're saying is, a plate bumper and spindle gussets are needed to drive safely on the highway? :D Do you think skid plates are essential safety equipment too?

Sliders might have reduced the hoof dents going down the side... add those to the list...

I know a few people on this forum that would swear bigger tires are a safety feature too...

well i might know a guy that is the reason behind that...
he made an OG Toyota pickup fly multiple times! twice off a helicopter!

what i'm trying to say is that Whistlindiesel has already eradicated it from Canada before it became a problem

Parking lot was full. It was either this or park a block away. Did I do it correctly?

so does this mean the hoop is useless or should we add a hoop just incase?

The hoop is necessary to prevent the animal from going into the grille or headlights. That's why the ARB hoop is like one and half times the tube diameter of everyone else's and has beefy triangular mounts.

Dents on the door are from a tree. But sliders would have definitely helped with that.

I was browsing some parts and realized the OKExpedition skid plate went up in price from 499 to 569.

    Inflation is fun! :jerkoff:

Probably fluctuates wildly with material prices.

Well done! After the big snowfall I was creating my own spots on side streets while parking for work.

A tree jumped out in front of you on the road too?!

Dam dangerous area you live in there son!

Besides the sliders, you better get the full ARB bumper and the Mad Max roll cage option!

Don't want to see you get scuffed or anything like that, easy to replace a Taco, but you don't see a lot of Ginger's out there now a days!

P.s. don't tell the insurance company about the tree jumping out in front, say it fell over in front of your truck.
I can relate, when I talked about the jumpin part, they gave me a suspicious look and my rates went up.

What's that old expression... Oh yeah,

"If someones is not taking pictures,
    You're not doing it right!"

Maybe we should have a TEC snowbank parking contest,
we'll have Norilsk as the judge because if we let him compete he's gonna try and outdo that Jeep buried at the top of that snowbank.
(Or he will cheat and have a Jeep winching him up from the other side so he gets on a calendar or something).

I'll voluntold @tacoma16 to do the honours of giving out the prize to the winner!
1 free phallus weld on the winner's truck!
( Another reason why @Norilsk can't compete as his truck already has a phallus in it, err I mean on it. )

Lets not call then Snowbanks, lets call them SHowbanks.
