Anyone know if there is a way to make a perpendicular cross member on the rear while keeping the spare tire mount location stock? I'll be boxing the rear frame and like my members stiff.

Thought you were still running Bilstein's? My rig has been apart and put back together a few times in the last weeks in preparation for the trip...still need to touch all the suspension bolts again before departure...I hate noises!

No just thought I'd try something just a FYI for anyone interested.
    Falcon shocks.
    6" of total possible travel.
From ride height to full droop 1 and 1/2 in.
From ride height to full compression about 3 and 1/2 in. - the bump stop they put in the shock. You might get 2 in of up travel 3 maybe.

And fair enough they don't advertise these shocks as lift shocks, but just as a stock replacement with maybe a 2-in lift.
Oh, and you cannot use an o m e886 coil with the shocks. They've contoured the spring seat to the stock spring and they don't sit on their properly. If you try to put an 886 coil it won't physically fit. You cannot bolt them in and I get it The travel of the shock. It's not enough

So are you now using stock springs and losing lift?

I'm not sure if Teraflex intentionally designed the spring seat to exclude the OME spring. Notice the last coil on the 886 narrows down? I think that just makes it too tight for the 2.25" Falcon shock body.

I tried my damdest. Maybe if I had a spring compressor but then again the ride would be like a floor jack. The vehicle kept lifting up b4 I could get the not on the top hat.
It's all experience gained too bad I have a bad memory.:)

I made an appointment to do the High Center Brake light recall, and my 4WD light goes blinky blinky and won't engage into 4WD.
    Must be an actuator.

Prolly a shared ammunition setup...22 to start.

Looking at the Ruger SR22 handgun...long gun 22 will be premium optics sights semi, haven't researched much yet on that, cuz, it's a 22 rifle.

Have my eyes on a pretty sweet .44 Mag Carbine Lever...with scope.

Regardless, it's gonna be awhile...been hearing horror stories of 6-8 month turn around on PAL receipt

    Edit: SR22

    Sad face
