They usually call your reference right before issuing license. That’s been my experience and few of my friends.

4 months  I remember when that used to be 4 weeks or less! I think all of these governments agencies are behind. Wife redid her passport. Was told 20 business days. It’s been 2.5 months now. They took the money pretty quick too :spending:

    ummm .....ya.
Unless you are an essential worker (me..lol) its either a huge wait at the passport office (4 to 5 hours) or your months waiting on snail mail. I so love the government.

Anyone have a recommendation for a tire supplier that can get the Cooper discovery STT Pro for a good price and can balance a large tire?

I don’t know about the coopers but @Therby has some really good hookups for tires.

I got mine balanced at kal tire with beads. About $140 if I recall. Road force balanced may be better but I was happy with how it went down.

While the current tires only have 6,100km on them,

I figured it was time I went to 35's ...

When I was talking to the dealer, he said no way would they fit...

I told them I know a few guys on a forum, that can stuff 35's into anything!

    IMG-20220512-132009-807-side-view-2_857ce82c66cfb6f732a4b2ee5b4b074843373d3c.jpg

errr, well um that was on topic wasn't it?

Fook me, lol I tried to haggle,

But it was in mint, mint shape,
even no scuffs on the underside air foils... (lol those get ripped off all the time on these cars)
Only 2 launches recorded in the computer..
Actually was surprised how well it was on bumpy roads even in Sport mode.

But then we took it for a test drive on the 407...

Took 3 seconds to go past the speed limit,
and remove any haggle-ability I had left.

I have not told the wife yet... :anonymous:

She does not go into the Garage much...

When I pick it up next week, I'll just stuff it in the Garage, and act casual.

I should be able to get away with this right?

    She does not know cars....
I'll just tell her I re-painted the Civic. Put a new exhaust on it too.

Yeah Yeah, that's my story...

Get her all distracted googling car wraps,
and that should give me time ,to get out the driveway.

Her Beetle may outrun the Tacoma, but it ain't catching this thing.

Can always say you are holding it for a “buddy” and few years later just say “he disappeared, oh well…”
