Looks like you can take out a short-term mortgage for it at 8.99%

There's a 2022 model year FJ Cruiser sold in the UAE with "Final Edition" badging. Wonder how much it would command if you manage to import one.

That markup must violate some kind of Toyota Canada Corporate policy… whether it be price equality, dealership fair pricing, or at least their sexual harassment policy. Thats a thorough gouging considering a new one is $20k less.
Regardless, that sticker price is enough to make me think “FUCK THOSE FUCKERS” and avoid that dealership like the plauge.

It's used. No MSRP on used vehicles.

Ouch. Damn you for knowing the rules.
My opinion still remains the same… fuck those fuckers. No caps though. Still will not grace them with my presence.

    Check build thread!
I used to work for these guys, before they changed ownership. I was there as they changed. What new ownership does is they take the nicest new vehicles, license them under the general managers name, and drive them for 10000km, then they sell them at a huge markup used.

it’s basically legal fraud. They are scumbags. I and everyone I know quit out of principal.

@Saturnine is right. Toyota Canada has no corporate policy against this.

Supply and demand. Either pay more and get it sooner or order and wait a couple of years. The alternative is socialism.

^Only $1650 monthly payment after taxes. If you can afford a bachelor apartment in Toronto, you can afford this.

It is definitely weird. We may have literally nothing in common except a vehicle. At least we have matching shirts.

Funny enough, back in 2016 (2 years before forming the club) at one of the first ever camping trips as a group of strangers from this website - one of the guys hit a door with an axe of another dude… not going to say the names, but it all went well and we are what we are now lol
