That would be interested in meeting up one evening this week or on the weekend? I’m looking for an opinion on my truck and how it’s driving. The ride quality feels really rattly and a couple of other things I’m just curious about knowing if it’s normal Tacoma characteristics or if there’s some things I need to address. Just not familiar with these trucks yet like that.
I got it safetied recently so it doesn’t need anything in that sense, but just think it could feel a little tighter and don’t know where to start.

I’m not sure if it’ll translate in video, but I’ll try and explain maybe. It’s like, jarring over bumps.
If I go over a manhole on one side of the truck, it reverberates and rattles the whole cab. I get that it’s a pickup truck and an old one at that and so it’ll have its level of play throughout the vehicle it just feels a little *too* clunky. There’s a term for it I just forget what it is right now, is it floaty? it’s like I go over a bump and it lands in a slightly different place on the road almost. Truck feels great otherwise.
I think it’s lifted 2 3/4” or 3” and it’s got 5100s, I just don’t know what else is going on because PO’s PO installed the stuff and the guy didn’t know much. Wondering if it’s just lifted too much, or the shocks are worn out.

 

And other than that, my steering is so light, is that a product of big tires? My awd bmw has a nice solid heavy steering feel, and so I’m comparing it to that, it’s like I could spin the wheel in the truck with a pinky finger if I wanted to. Lol. Sorry if that’s all a long winded description
