Thus is a demo...buddy called me and said cone take it for a rip. So I did.
Apparently mine is the next manual to be allocated to them. Whatever that means.
This thing feels gigantic compared to my 3rd Gen. The new designed interior is pretty sick with exception of the 95 inch infotainment screen in the middle of the dash. Kinda glad mine doesn't come with it...I find it too large.
The 2.4 turbo is a torque bastard..I figure it'll dust my 3.5 off the line as torque is instant.
We'll see what the difference is in the manual.
This was a Sport Premium and I'm really glad I went short box as this thing feels like a land yacht.

Dyno results suggest the 4th will slap the 3rd for the whole pull!

I saw my first 24 Taco on the road today in Woodstock! It was coming down Mill Street, past the Daisy Mart. Where I was buying lottery tickets to win enough to buy my own…. It was that orange colour - DCLB. Didn’t notice which grade.

:gossip: There's enough torque to comfortably rotate 37s on stock gearing, as shown here:

I had a 77 Jimmy with a 4 speed. The throw on the clutch was about a foot and a half and you need Arnie legs to push it.

My 51 Dodge with 4 speed has about half the throw on the clutch on the Jimmy and you only need David Beckham legs to push it.

A modern toyota has a clutch throw of about 3cm and you would need to have a big toe handy to engage it.

I think that was the point to the “modern clutch” comment.
