I don't know how I'd know that. Speedy Glass did it. But I don't know how well anything takes rock chips

^Lower left corner should have the glass mfr's name/logo. OEM is Pilkington at least in 2018.

Thanks for your help guys. I talked to my neighbours buddy who does windshields and he recs pgw with oem moldings. Going with him as the guy my shop uses now installs windshields with a welding mask and is a total butcher.

:) exactly like that but ...
Roughly 31" wide with around 12- 15 inch arms.
I took some measurements there rough but I'm just making things up as there is no option unless I want to pay over a grand for the anti rock sway bar. And I need 2  so most likely $2060. Can't afford that for sway bars. Have to look for a used option

Hard to find OEM straight sway bars for packaging reasons. Exceptions are vehicles like Jeep Wranglers and early-'90s GM half-tons. If you have access to a Jeep JK, take some measurements of the front sway bar to see if it'll fit.

Alternatively make your own with 4130 chromoly thick-wall tube, and rectangular tube as levers. The Currie Anti-rock is expensive because it's splined. If you're welding the levers to the tube, it's a lot cheaper.

Now I am at the point of maybe wanting the bed box on, or off depending on how I want to use the truck.

I need something like this, but for the 62" bed box.

    https://www.homedepot.ca/product/dewalt-toughsystem-2-0-adaptor/1001807976

So the bed box would mount to a small platform with the latches on it? The bed has the click in part bolted to it?

Help me boys, it now needs to be modular

I'm simple and cheap so Id just make an angle iron frame that the box sits inside of with two bolts on either side that pinch the box in. Or instead of pinch bolts threaded nutserts in the box and holes in the angle iron and a quick bolt in and out. Good luck with it. Sounds like a nice project

The box is paper thin aluminum, so it must be mounted flush on the weight supporting surface. As it is mounted flush on the bed, the bed holds the weight, not the box. It just keeps things dry. You cant 'Pinch' it to hold it in place, it will crumple like a pop can. The angle iron would have it 1/4" up on the sides and it would cumple in the middle. 1/4" plate for the bottom seems heavy.

This was the idea of the platform, dont really want to use wood for it, bit its looking that way.

I have ordered one as it's getting close to driving. Just need to get the sway down. Hopefully I can custom mount some sway bars, brakes kind of still feel spongy maybe air, couple of other little things but hopefully driving soon. I don't plan to have a front drive shaft for this year, so maybe no four-wheeling. Let's see.

If that's the case, just take a look at the Milwaukee packout platforms. When my truck flipped over those cases were in the back packed full and never came unlatched or moved. I'm not sure about the DeWalt stuff. How secure it is. Somebody else would have to chime in on that.

I just need that idea but larger?

Is there some sort of commercial equivialant in the back of plumbers trucks or something?

Bunch of these wanks are contractors, I knows it.

    :duh:

Hmm, wood platform, ratchet straps, to the side rails.

    HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Then I can have it removable via tractor with pallet forks.

    @Windigo Thnx mate.

does the bed box go from the tie down angle to tie down angle on the bed? My bed box is just a simple bolt through the tie down angle. Keeps it locked in. If you want to go through the floor I just used a 1/4” plate to increase the surface area when mounting my half box.
    Edit
I’ll try and grab a photo if that doesn’t make sense

Multiple (say 8) latches like those used for swing out tire carriers?

Mount the handle portion to the box walls and the small hook portion to the bed.
