I will not be honking and yelling with like 6+ rigs, that does not work at all. :boink:

Might work with just 2 guys, still way way better to simply have coms, makes everything easier. You can borrow my extra :infantry:

:help: I also know from last year, that I will want to venture away from the group when everyone else slows down, or goes to eat. So when I get stuck, id like to be able to cry for help to someone who is listening. :help:

Those pictures making me nervous about getting real stuck. All those trucks look lifted.

My truck was not lifted last year, only got stuck when we stopped for lunch when it sank in for the hour we sat there.

Will be enough of us there, no worries about being stuck. Good you are nervous though means you are ready for the fun!@ I did not even sleep the night before last years trip, I was up all night.

Yes, you will get stuck, but so will most everyone else. Recovery is part of the experience.

Hey Wes might want to look into those 7/8 ropes instead from that site you posted. I emailed them asking about the 3/4 they don't stock them anymore cause they don't recommend them for trucks as they had issues with failure.

I have bfp hook in the front and a hook that goes on the trailer hitch. I have a recovery strap from princess auto? Is this sufficiently?

    Look beefy.

Those Multimatic shocks apparently cost more to replace than Icons or Kings, due to Chevy OEM and dealer markup.

For all you new guys worried just relax. If you get stuck let one of us regulars guide the recovery. And we will get you out.

By all means please no one be an idiot and floor it to pull a stuck truck. Usually just need a slight tug. Don't feel like seeing shackles go flying.

But it's really not that bad. Only one truck was stuck when we went and it was mostly from tires not being that good still.

And most of all understand getting stuck is part of off roading. If you're not prepared for it then might not be for you lol
