Welcome. Keep an eye out on the trail meets. There is a mall crawl, where we generally meet up prior to the wheeling season just to meet up and see who is who. Feel free to add your name up.

EDIT: didn't see you were from Windsor. Yeah most of our meets are up north. You should definitely meet up with @Thyces

    When?
    Sunday, May 6th @ 1pm.
    Where?

AT. kinda regret not going MT but it's so nice to wheel with AT lol.

I'd love to join. I'm out of country for work May and June but have July and August off. Hopefully be wheeling as much as possible during that time

I patiently waited for MT when I ordered it & traded my 15 AT. The internal diagram of a 3rd gen auto tranny didn't satisfy me.

I'm the dark grey double cab with a snorkel. I'm pretty sure I saw you on Howard today. I carry a small black enclosed trailer.

for sure. I've gotten so much shit for buying this truck from friends and family. I get the same reaction from everyone, "I love the colour....but it's a Toyota".

Sorry I bought a truck that will last more than 200,000kms lol

I see all this pro 'MT' talk coming from you. I am not convinced it is better, at all for wheeling :infantry:

I guess it will be more fun running your starter over and over each time you stall :boink:

Oh I am talking about MT vs AT in 3rd gen only, the AT in 2nd gen is still the best tranny overall.
It's all about torque and power delivery that AT in 3rd gen is missing, ECT button solves it but gearing is still wrong at the back.

stalling won't be an issue, tested 4LO+ATRAC+RR recently, thing crawls without me even holding gas pedal.

You can set them up with caps or tool boxes. Check out UteLtd. Not the cheapest option but extremely versatile.

I may have a stock harness that could allow you to extend yours. But you may have enough run in your current harness to relocate your stock one. I went with the pelfreybuilt relocation mounts for mounting ($30 but they come with two since there is two types of camera, so if were lucky you may be able to use the one I didn't)

Holy balls I'm wondering if that might just work . I don't like the idea of keeping my tailgate off. Its pretty lol

I'm going this weekend to check it out so I guess if I do get it I can pop the tailgate off and keep it in the back
