Depending on what you need, all inclusive or just liability?
Got with liability if vehicle cost is below 10K, which in your case it should be, that's what I had with 05. Also insuring aftermarket parts will increase your insurance cost, so you might want to skip telling them about steel bumper.

    Check those links.

will do.. i have a few insurance needs.. basic on the taco, hard to say what its worth, or what I'd get in a write off.. 10k is probably fair.. paid 15k 4 years and 120k km ago..
its worth more in my eyes, but to be fair..

the travel trailer, then work trailer, then business liability.. home will come soon enough..

It is a military thing, they have maximum 30% civilian membership. I am just a civi. I had to be sponsored by an existing military member to even apply.

very cool.. I'm sure it'd be an insurance/liability nightmare, but a shop ran like a 24/7 carwash would clean up.. all my spare change.

Always hate how hard it is to get my truck on a lift.. small shops that'll let you behind the curtains are rarer and rarer.. I just figured eventually I'd be installing a lift, in my imaginary shop..

Here's a shot of my driveway, earlier today.. Made it about 500meters, and decided back out, and come back in a week.. With gas for my chainsaw.. and probably rubber boots.. IMG_20180413_131047.jpg
First half km put more racing stripes and trail damage on the taco than the last 4 years..

    All of them
I go with The Personal because they give me military discounts. They're decently priced. 90 bucks a month for a 28 year old max coverage available on my taco

@taczilla checked out the trailer. probably going to pick it up tomorrow. For it to become a camper build will take some work some i'm up for suggestions. What I would like to see is some thermal insulation, maybe a skylight/hatch for vent, two side windows, maybe turn the drivers side into a box so i can keep some recovery tools. Solar panels into a battery box (@tacoma16 pay attention here) it has a large hole on the drivers side towards the top that could work perfectly with a gromit in order wire things up

seriously considering lobbing off the bottom portion of the back and turning into a swing up window, rather than a "lose the tailgate and swing left giant door" i really want to keep my tailgate attached

    Nice!
I would look into cable clams from blue sea
    https://www.bluesea.com/products/category/23/Cable_Clams

I have used this with great success. No leaks. Ran a 7 pin 14 gauge wire meant for a trailer (solid wire with 7 wires in it, makes it more water tight).

Insulation you could use the stick on type of reflective material found at Homedepot. For my rack I am using rivnuts and rivets to secure shit to the internal braces. For instance, I am going to either put a partition that will hold all my electronics. All I can say is try to keep your weight low, and as much off the bedsides as you can.

I buy my Blue Sea stuff from Binnacle Marine in Halifax. Watch for sales and free shipping over $99.

But they're on Amazon as well:

purchased there as well. I found their prices were very close to http://www.foghmarine.com (port credit) which is pretty close to me. Plus they have a sweet army surplus store down the street.

it is a tiny store, so dont expect a huge selection when you are there but the guy is super chill and can hook ya deals if you ask. Plus most of the stuff is new, not dingy like some of the stores you go to. I bought two 20L sceptre water cans for $40. Prices are very fair and quality is good.
