    Lol you and your Nokians.

I’m going to see how these Pirellis look, it’s a hell of a good deal. If not I’ll look into those.

Took a relaxing 6.1km hike down in Dundas this morning. Haven’t hiked in quite some time, remembered why I loved it.

Dundas Peak, Webster’s Falls and Spencer Gorge! I used to take my dog hiking there. Beautiful area.

Agreed. Was very nice. Also didn’t have to pay for parking because I slugged it from the Sydenham road lookout through the Bruce Trail.

Last time I was there they had the stairs and a huge section around the waterfall all fenced off. It really spoiled it for me after years of it being accessible. Is it still fenced off?

Yes it is. In 2016 a family got tired of people walking through their backyard, leaving trash, and having sex where their young kids could see off the trail. They took their easement back from the trail council and that was that. No other way from Tews to Webster’s unless you walk on the road. It’s unfortunate but that’s what happens when you go from 80k people in one year to 140k people. They started charging ridiculous rates for parking to discourage people from all over the GTA coming and wrecking the trail with all the traffic and trash.

The back way via the Bruce Trail is MUCH better. Better views the whole way up and you still get the same peak and Tews falls experience, just backwards.

Edit: I re read your comment. The stairs are accessible and all around the falls is, you just can’t get to Webster’s from Tews.

They have a very mild tread though.
I've seen them on a few Ford and Dodge already. Not much of a tread for off road.

I’ll see how they are, they’re close by me. Most of the driving I will do in TBay is going to be forest road too. They look comparable to a KO2.

Is that what was formerly known as the Devils Punchbowl?

    That’s up on the mountain.

The hike I went on was Tews Falls, but surrounding it is Webster’s Falls, and Spencer creek is the creek that feeds those Falls.
