I wanted to get an scx-10, then I got my tacoma.

The full size rig has become my favorite toy. Everytime I think about the R/C's, I find something else I want for the taco.

What's there to see? Anyone got any tips? I got 5 days to explore.

    Kakabeka Falls

Nice, I'll see what I can find for wheeling there, should be plenty of trails.
If you are going to Montana, stop by Bozeman, and you may find my maxtrax boards in the woods, snow should melt by that time :anonymous:

Im excited for all the service roads out there.
Were trying our best to avoid the crowds. last time we were out in banff we hit all the tourist spots and it was way too crowded for us.

I got the gpx file, will see if anything aligns with my route.

IDK, I can cross it in 2 days, but figured driving each day 7-8 hours and hike/explore for the rest of the day.

Jasper is the way to go, although getting busy now too I've heard. Better yet, let's do Dempster hwy, my penis-rated nokians up to the task after US trip, still 40% left! lol

I drove out to Yellowstone in 1997. We visited The Badlands in South Dakota along the way out which were pretty spectacular. I had my started motor fail in a rundown, one road town just west of there where the gas station and "park" that look more like a crime scene, were on one side of the road and a biker bar right out of Mad Max on the other side. That was in my Jeep. I also cracked my oil pan around there. Yellowstone was beautiful but no wheeling, only a couple fire roads. Wish I had headed south to Canyonlands but ran out of time. We only had 2 weeks and spent a week in Yellowstone. Came back on the Trans Canada. Round trip was a little over 8,000km.
