I can tell you that's not from the factory. Must be a dealer "stick on" option - lol

You guys see the turnout they had in Cali? There's a video on the 'what have you done to your third gen' page. Must be around 80 trucks!

I've seen lots around but I highly doubt they are on here. Found some groups on Facebook with guys in Canada. I could thrown something out on there that may bring out a couple more.

Some Tacoma guys are weird tho. You can drive by, give a guy a smal double honk and guys will wave back. Some of these other guys look and wonder what your problem is :p

Some you look at to see if they look over so you can give them the thumbs up but their head doesn't even turn. Feels like Jennie in grade 6 never waving back.

we mustn't allow ourselves to stoop to the levels of the heepers
cousin drives a jeep, he tried explaining it to me, they have a whole points system and hierarchy, it's pretty derpy.. take a look
    http://blog.allthingsjeep.com/Jeep-...1059/The-Official-Guide-to-the-Jeep-Wave.aspx
    and it's totally a thing..
i think the best one can expect is a look and a nod from another appreciating tacoma owner, we know our trucks are bad ass, and don't need the circle jerk on the highway, like, that's what TW's for:anonymous::crapstorm:

    the rivalry is real

    General Rules:

    1. All Jeepers are responsible for upholding the tradition of the Wave. Upon contact with a higher scoring Jeep, a Jeeper is required to initiate the Wave, and continue the Wave until:

    1. The Wave is returned
    2. The Wave is blatantly disregarded
    3. The higher scoring vehicle has passed by and is out of sight
    That shit is sooo funny!

the kool-aid is strong in the jeep camp, I can't seem to find the points system my cousin showed me, it seems they're covering their tracks, i recall stuff like points awarded for parts held on with duct tape, points deducted for having a clean jeep.. stuff like that..
but I'm pretty sure this is the only reason tacowners aren't so enthusiastic about waving..

    i tend toward the shaka

I waved at a guy in a lifted taco a couple of months ago and he waved back.

my GF said "Oh, isn't that cute!".

I said "WTF are you talking about - "isn't that cute"????? That's what we do!!!"

GF: well, I just thought it was cute!

Me: You drive a Tundra, you should get this!....

    GF: It was cute!

You can let me know when you find the right situation to use A-TRAC, I have yet to figure out how it helps. Supposedly you can use it like crawl control and get out of sand you are stuck in. I did not have recovery boards to try getting stuck so I could not test it that way yet.

This summer is going to be so much fun trying to get stuck so I can learn how to recover with just the wife and I :cookiemonster:
