Cool! I spent a week at TMMTX (Texas Toyota plant) last January. Had to go there for work.
Wish I could transfer there, but their overtime is insane!!!

You guys that are in the GTA/closer to downtown, is there a go-to dealer that has been pretty no-nonsense with servicing your 3rd gen and more importantly not given you much shit for bringing up TSB's?

I'm at about 2500km now, I'm eager to do at least the one 'big' transmission TSB, but also this recent driveline/braking one I read about. An issue I thought I had, but never knew it was a TSB until a few minutes ago.

The problem I find is the dealers closer to downtown are only familiar with Toyota Cars and cross overs not trucks so they don't know anything and are annoying cunts when it comes to doing work.

It's a bit far but I only go to Stouffville now. At least they don't give me bullshit.
I've heard Milton is really good as well.

It sucks to need to go so far but id rather have a shop that know what they're doing instead of like what happened to Josh where Scarborough forgot to bleed his brakes and he almost crashed

Call and speak to a service person about your issues and see what they say.
I bought my truck at "Inn on the Park" Eglington/Leslie and they seem ok whenever I've had to deal with them. Usually dealers only like you if you bought from them, they treat you differently. My experience.

Milton is sweet. Not only are they doing frame replacements and what not. But they gave me all the parts for a leaf spring tsb when I told them i had an aftermarket parts. No BS here are the parts.

If you're closer to Stouffville they're good too.

I'm East end so I go there . Otherwise I'd go Milton

Honestly any more so out of city dealer will be better with trucks. In the city they're more familiar with cars and rav4

So I tried to search for an extraterrestrial life (read aliens) in NM. No luck, but I got to enjoy the nature and hit some local trails.
Currently in Cali, it's +22C in here!

Also, if anyone needs anything from the states (i.e. buying parts from TW member here) I can grab them and bring them home. :canada:

Was gonna ask, what is the purpose of this trip. More importantly what is your itinerary. Was thinking of flying down to phx then vegas with like Sonoma in the middle. Was supposed to be next week but I see that slipping

I will be in vegas on 20th and after 26th. From 22 till end of thanksgiving I am planning on going camping with Vegas TW members. My travels more like, open map, close eyes, point finger - go.

Hrrrmmmph, no sympathy from us. I was perfectly happy shoveling the nice big slushy pile of salted snow at the end of my driveway at 06:00. Strolling down my driveway behind my rattling sputtering snowblower as the wind changes and gives me that nice refreshing Canadian blast of snow to the face. That rattletrap started on the first pull! I'll take that over your 22C.

While your suffering through all those dusty trails and UV rays we get to watch the Darwin Driving Awards and the live driver ballet shows.

While you rest in front of a campfire dodging scorpions and hoping no snakes get in your sleeping bags... we'll be enjoying the brief rain turn the pathetic bit of snow into ice. Knowing that tomorrow we'll have a nice salted road to drive through.

It's nice that you post the photographs of your sufferings. Keep it up, It makes me enjoy the sound of the plow rumbling by, depositing 2' of slushy crap that turns to ice by morning. I'm so glad the wife dives a Beetle so I have to shovel pickaxe that stuff up and not just drive over with my truck.

I think you should point that finger at some of those bigger US 4x4 parks, and post pics of how miserable you are. Maybe some sympathy then.

This is the comment of the year! I am saving it for the future.

I will keep suffering in the hot, humid & dusty weather for all my Canadian TW members.:ballchain:

Speaking of sacrifices, this is going to be an expensive repair.
