You might need spacers, i tried steel wheels that style on my 2nd gen and the rim didnt have enough clearance for the caliper

There is a slight offset. Tire guy explained it to me. Sounded like Charlie Browns teacher. The tire shop has them in stock. Any idea how wide I would need to go?

I got 1.25" adapter spacer for mine because I only trust spidertrax for offroad. You could get a 5mm to just get it out a little from the caliper, but you may need to extend your lugs. Check to see if it'll rub the caliper before you buy spacers, I don't think the 16" rim should, but I'm only knowledgable on first gens.

Depending on the rim, the steel rims have been known to cause issues rubbing the caliper. However a simple test fit should tell all. If it is a 17” rim no issues.

I had an offset too but it rubbed the front of the caliper, i had the pro comp rims
I had to go aluminum cause they had more clearance on the spokes

So I guess I should have known what I was getting into with dropping the truck off at Canadian Tire for the alignment, but they were the only place open on a Sunday so I figured I'd try. the kid said because I had spacers his alignment rack wasn't calibrated for it and then gave me shit because the truck has spacers on it, because "they're illegal to have on the truck". Okay buddy sure lol. Will take it to 4 wheel parts I guess.

Tossed in a new engine filter and cabin filter. Cleaned out the cab, a little febreze air clip and ahh feels nice again

Also put in the Auxbeam LED headlights pretty good for the price! Colour is perfect!

Might just trade the truck in for this, looks low maintenance.

I did a paracord weave on my A pillar and door handle grips. Never thought of doing the steering wheel...

Turns out the kid gave me shit about the spacers for nothing, they’re adapter type which are legal based on the revised 2016 safety inspection standard. Further solidified that Canadian Tire techs don’t have a clue lol.

I like it. It's tighter than the steering wheel covers and looks semi oem. Plus it gives the steering wheel some girth. Oem feels way too thin.

No worse than your offset wheels. Just a little sketchy for my liking running spacers

Yeah, but I’m fine with replacing a wheel bearing if I have to. Admittedly wish I went with the 16’s so I wouldn’t have to use the spacers (adapters) but I like the way the 15’s look and I got a stupid good deal on 15” tires.
