Yep, we scoped out a few camp sites on the VMUTS. We now know why the one site is always taken by hunters. They have an amazing out house they built hidden just in the bush at that site. It is the nicest outhouse iv seen in the bush. If the weather works out for us on Friday night, we want to camp at that spot.

oh wow haha it snowed here all day on Monday, but not nearly that much! just a little here and there but it was all gone by the end of the day haha still not impressed with the weather tho. I'm just glad I'm not in the flood zone along the river. lots of people have had to evacuate their homes due to flooding

Soo this morning I checked the air pressur in my gf's Fit before our little trip to Laval, and also checked the pressur in the front tires of the truck. While doing it I took a look at all the component behind the wheel and notice the seal between the hub assemblie and the axle shaft is off its place!:annoyed: That sesl is the one I replaced in the same thime as the bearing 2 yesrs ago... Aftermarket crappy seal imo. I noticed it wasn't really the same shape but get the job done pretty well until today. Now to see if there is damage to the bearing since I don't know how long it has been like this leaving water and salt get in... Damnmit!

I went through the vendor on here and got two complete hub assemblies and seals for a decent price and shipping. Biggest thing was the quality of parts the guy uses.

I was thinking about it really! You got them from Bamatoy? If my bearing is starting to be worn I might go that route! If still good i'll just get a seal from the dealer and put it in when I'll change my leaking axle...

Buying a single bearing is a pita to put back in since I don't have a press to put the new one in place, and most shop are close during week end... so no help and can't spend a week without the truck...

Pretty sure it was bamatoy. Actually won a bearing and purchased another and seals. Nice units. Haven't needed them, by when I do....lol

The assembled one is the way to go. The hub is usually toast by the time the bearing goes and pressing out and what not isn't always going to give the best result. For the amount of work and the price, for me it was more economical to replace the entire unit. Like you I can't have the truck down.

Thats why I am considering his assembliez! The last time I replace the bearing on driver side I mostly got screwed because the old one was seized on the shaft and I didn't had a press at home (still don't lol) I was lucky to know a guy who work on cranes and he was at the shop so I brought him the kit and he took care of the swap. Having spares, directly bolt on hub assemblies is on my list. But I am kinda cheap:anonymous: so I wait a little to see if our looney can come closer to the us dollar and save a little...

I hear ya. They do have assembled kits from wrenchmonkey. There are some other places that sell the complete assemblies. Just go with oem seals and you should be good to go.

They sell assemblies?! I ordered my axles from them after you told me they exist lol! Didn't knew they were selling whole hub assemblies! Might worth cheking them out... I guess they won't be well assembled like the one from bamatoy but they can be a great spare! Might sound dumb but I guess they can be mounted on each side?

I have ordered these for my sisters boyfriends Acura. Did them a couple years ago and still going.

Here is the link for the Tacoma. Remember this is Canadian dollars and free shipping.

    https://www.thewrenchmonkey.ca/products/auto-parts/DORMAN/4110446/

Might not be the best parts compared to what bamatoy is assembling but for daily commute and what not may be worth it.
