de-badged, tint front windows, led interior lights, door sill protectors, led b/up lights, 5" factory step rails, yellow turn signal bulbs, added 4 D ring tie downs. Took off the black vinyl stripes between the doors. Changed the grill - from Custom Car Grills, Finally got a tonneau cover put on. 31" light bar ( white & amber ), tailgate light bar, sunvisor covers ( to hide warning labels ), new bedside decals - still too cold to put them on tho. Flag decals to go on too, again too cold still. Got a 2 switch, switch plate to replace that useless cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel.. still to be installed ( hopefully this weekend ). Upgraded the tires to G/Y Duratracs... loving them, no plowing the driveway !!
Picked up my new 16 trd sport dcsb mt, I did go with a lot of the extras, I traded in my 12 ac, base model. Much happier with the new truck. This actually feels like a truck, not a Tonka toy. I had the dealer add the step rails, also they paid for the front windows to be tinted2016.jpg I have also changed the bulbs in the head lights & fogs to PIAA extreme white plus 4K. They are awesome. I have all the interior & back up lights ordered in LEDs, just waiting for them to come in.
    Oh, Caledon here.

Ordered lvl 2 armor this week. After the weather becoming nice enough to get out on the trails, I have realized I need trail armor before bumpers and a winch.

Hi! I lived on the Little Sturgeon River at Jocko Point while going to Nip U. between '95 to '99. My wife ran the bar there until it burned down. Nice area and loved the hunting and fishing! Maybe we bumped into each other in our travels, or at a pike or bass tournament. Now I'm down in Prince Edward County, near Sandbanks Provincial Park.

What's that little orange thing in the armor pic?

And are you sure that you want to go with orange powder coated armor on a black truck? Pricey! Might be better off to use EZ Liner ($10/can) at CT and touch it up after a scrape or two on the granite up there.

Since I plan on building a light EXPO (still heavy enough), I'm going aluminum on mine. I know a couple of fabricators in the area, so I'll make cardboard templates and it will be a DIY affair.

I didnt do much fishing just out of high school, I am a bit younger than you I think :)

The little orange thing in the pic is actually red in that image, and it is the E-locker motor guard, it is now orange.
    http://bigcountrycustoms.com/product/electric-locker-motor-guard/

Powder coating in North Bay is rather cheap at North Bay Powder Coating, cost me $60 to have the 1st three parts done and I love the look.

I am going with an orange and black look on the truck, love it so far :Dtruck1.jpg

A cheap source for powder coat is always good. It didn't exist when I was up there.

Hey, it's not my pig, not my farm... so pick any colour you want. I was just sayin' it's a lot easier and cheaper to rattle can, than remove and re-powder coat.

Where's that cut that your on in the pic? Kinda looks familiar.

You should start a build thread. That's a nice truck that you have there!

I love the mirrors on your rig, we are wanting some heated LED goodness :)

The cut in my pic is right here up highway 11 North just along the pipeline, great wheeling along there

    https://www.google.ca/maps/dir/Nort...28c7232700!2m2!1d-79.4608204!2d46.3091152!1m0

I think I will start a truck build thread, I have done the mudflaps already and armor so it would be nice to keep track of it all. Thanks for the idea :)

There's a GB going on right now for those mirrors.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/closed-proefx-towing-mirrors-gb-2016.429025/#post-12372704

    Oops! Closed

But keep your eye out for them going up on the 2nd Gen thread. 3 sets sold in the past month from between $150 and $200 USD.

As for that pipeline cut, I remember there's another out near Tilden Lake or Corbeil... a good one for wheeling! I really liked taking the bush roads up near Tamagami (on the left side of 11) for some partridge hunting and brookie fishing.

Armor lvl 2 has been started. Still waiting on the transfer case skid plate, it was delayed in shipping. Had the IFS skid plate powder coated, going to just do the transmission skid with flat black spray paint since you cant really see it. Transfer case skid plate will get the same treatment.

If you see an inferno TRD sport taco driving around the Alliston area it's probably me. Haven't seen any!

I've only caught sight of 2 2016's in the wild, so far. Can't say i've been looking out for them, but they don't appear to be all that numerous in the QEW/Lakeshore Hamilton-Oakville corridor.

I've seen quite a few new ones in the area. The other day when I saw a blue one I was pointing it out to my girlfriend who was with me and I guess the guy in the blue one noticed me and gave me a wave. So this is now a thing. Waving to Taco owners haha

So I had to alter my old tonneau cover from my 15 to fit my 16. She's a tight fit. Had to remove the rubber seals from the tailgate side and the window side because they were too big. Caused a gap along the sides. Turned out well, although it requires more effort to latch this one down.
