I'm sure it would be. But everyone has Blazers and Broncos. Scouts are less common and that's why I like them

And, apart from the sheetmetal that tends to rust easily, they are arguably much better built than a Blazer or Bronco. The engines are truly truck engines and make ridiculous amounts of torque at low revs.

I want to find one in running/driving condition that I can work with (meaning limited rust) and slowly restore it over the years. I should have bought the one I saw last summer. Haven't found anything close for the price. Lots of them have GM 350s swapped into them. I get the reasoning (they're a dime a dozen and weigh a fraction of what the IH motor does), but it just makes me cringe. I want it to be original.

Access cab with child seat in the back, yellow wire mod, diff breather relocated to tail light, engine block heater, Leer topper with Yakima tracks and rack, Yakima rack on cab, Ride Rite air bags with Daystar cradles, CBI hidden front hitch, wired for winch front and rear Warn quick connect, Warn x8000i on external carrier, sway bar delete, trailer plug relocated to under bumper, Pelfreybilt IFS and Mid skids, BAMF Tcase skid, ECGS front diff bushing, ARB CKMA12 compressor, 255/85/16 Backcountry MT 3 load E tires on stock steel rims, Toyo M55 tires (same size) on another set of stock steelies, Up2NoGood heated mirror kit, Husky X-act Contour front floor liners, Northstar AGM 24F battery under the hood, Northstar 27F in the cab, Redarc 25 amp DC to DC charger, Pelfreybilt bolt on sliders with kickout and top plates, TRD Pro headlights, Depo smoked tail lights, Energy suspension body mount bushing kit, OME Dakar leaf packs with AAL, OME rear shocks, OME 90021 front shocks with 885 coils, SPC LR UCAs, Up2NoGood 2wd low range mod, 4 Wheel Campers Grandby slide in camper, 4xinnovations high clearance rear bumper, Uniclutch 800 lb/ft clutch
No need for a bumper for a winch. I have the CBI Offroad Fab hidden front hitch and Warn Quick connect front and rear kits. My winch is on a removable carrier and can be used on the front or rear of the truck. An added bonus is that I don't have to drive around with my winch on the truck when I'm not going to be needing it.

I haven't driven them before... Everyday get better at it. Really that was the only 4x4 Tacoma available. I had just sold my 4runner and needed something ASAP to get to work.

again, for those that dont have an elocker and subsequent atrac in 4 lo, check out the Yellow wire mod.... this will give you some simulated LSD action on both axles in 4lo which does help out!
