    So, if I read this right, you blew up the original 130k mile 3.73 ratio open diff rear and now you installed a 4.56 open diff and are wondering how it's going to hold up?

    I'm assuming the open diffs have 2 spiders. Do the limited slips have 4 spiders?

    Who knows. Maybe the spider gears were an isolated failure due to abuse. Maybe you bent or screwed up something else (bearings? axle shaft?) that caused premature spider failure. Let us know.

    Exactly. And open diffs have 2 spider gears. Not sure about limited slip.
