YouTube videos for everything but the rearview. That I just found power and ground and did it myself.

Problem is the rear end of the newer 4runners, gx460’s and FJ cruisers is better and stronger than the gx470.

Are the newer rear ends a direct swap?

For the most part. Need a complete rear end though.

The “GXOR” group on facebook has a lot of resources on this sort of stuff. You’ll have to sort through a bunch of other worthless posts to find it usually even using the search bar.

and being KDSS brings its own complications

I can directly swap with a newer t4r that has KDSS with zero issues. I already have the wiring and switch for the locker too.

I don’t disagree. I wish the ih8mud gx section got more traffic actually. The Facebook GX community are more of the pay to install lift kits, buy this product plz, and like my stuff on Instagram type crowd.

Same, I despise FB groups. They are designed for quick questions not longevity style posts like a forum is.

Not bad for $60, beats the $300 I was gonna spend on an ARB.

Ditched the chrome window trim in favor of the Prado black trim today.

I did the quarter glass too. All in the whole thing took less than an hour.
