Unlikely because it’s a marginal gain at best. It mostly moves the parameters around to make power more accessible.

It’s expensive for what it provides as an OTS tune, but it fixes a lot of problems people have with the truck, so there’s that too.

You don’t gotta trim your fenders for it, either.

Yes you could but ultimately Super chargers will cause more problems than you want deal with down the road.

 

I have a PC on my bike. All it does is redistribute the power you already have to a different configuration. It doesn’t give you more or less it just changes around what you already have to give it to you when you want it if that makes sense. . .

 

That is pretty much what they do in a nutshell.
Just as OV tune has done, the truck has untapped power built in, the OV tune just helps to unlock it.

 

Not only wasted but running higher octane than you are tuned for will typically lower your power output by a couple hp/ft lbs.

Yeah, I think the clean surface reduces friction. I even notice the cab is quieter too.

 

A clean truck is more efficient because the suns rays bounce off the surface, pushing the truck downward, increasing traction. When it’s dirty the light is absorbed, making the truck heavier.
