    29k-25k = 4K / 12 months = ~$333.33 month???

Where’d you come up with 33k?

MSRP on truck was 38k. You said you got $3k off plus another 7-8%. That puts purchase price at around $33k not $29k.

If purchase price is $29k, than you got a smoking deal. However, that seems highly unlikely. May want to double check your paperwork. You have to see what the buy-out is at the end of the lease.

It’s about 2.5 rustoleum can diameters in depth. Is this the one missing from the 19s+?

Final price after TTL was ballpark 27-28k(I had the second highest trim), Mom put $10k down for me, financed through chase at 0.00%APR for 72 months, payments where ~$245 a month.

Chase hated us homie, they didn't make a dime!

You didn't factor in the 2 other discounts I mentioned, I have the paperwork and I'll break it down roughly so give or take $500

    MSRP of 38k
    - 3k dealer specific markdown = 35k
    - 1k employer partner discount = 34k
    - 1k Military rebate(grandfather served) = 33k
    - 3.1k me saying I wouldn't drive off the lot unless we agreed to a purchase price below 30(rough estimate that's = $29.9k
    - 4.7k trade in(they totally low-balled me, KBB value was a ~$XXX more but the gave me 5.5k and charged the usual "reconditioning fee" i.e. paying for them to clean it up to sell) = 25.2k
    + 900 dealer fee = 26.1k
    + 400 new tag, title, registration = 26.5k
+ 7% sales tax = $28,355 final price out the door

Agreed monthly payment $329 + basic additional services plan(roadside, hotel reimbursement, rental, key replacement) of $19 = $348 monthly

$329(service plan is calculated after the cost of the vehicle and therefor should not be included here) x 12 = $3948 paid after one year

28355 - 3948 = $24,407 The amount for the check I will be writing after one year of payments plus remaining cost of the service plan

My Dad taught me how to haggle, he once went back and forth with a Mazda dealership for 6 weeks over a MazdaSpeed3 and got it for peanuts. 7 months later he turned around and sold it(didn't trade it in, just a straight sale) back to the same dealership and made $4k(that's on top of not only what the car cost but also the cost of the insurance those 7 months)

Got ya, didnt realize there was a $5k trade in.

Makes the purchase price of $25k after 1 year more understandable.

Still curious what the buy out price at end of lease is as this will give you indication of how much of your payment is actually going to principle. Interest in a lease is hidden in the lease payment.

I don't think I even paid attention to it because this was pretty much my game plan from the get go to buy out after a year. Like I said I got a smoking deal and couldn't turn it down to wait for a 2020 that I was moving towards being on the fence about. I wanted to pay for at least a year that way I'd get a "full cycle" to experience the truck. As of right now I am still going forward with it but it could change in the next 12 months. I doubt it though. If I decide I don't want to keep it I can just pay through the lease and swap to something else. Either way I saved great

We are all so concerned with missing out on what's new and having the best. I went through this but honestly just love Tacoma. I'm getting a 2019 and will be crazy excited. It's a new truck! The reality is a new model will be here in the next 5 years or less and the cycle continues. Like others have said. You do whats best for you and just enjoy the Tacoma.

There are lots of threads and posts on rising the seat, including getting new bolts. Do a search.

I stuffed 1/2-inch worth of washers under the rails of my seat. It helped some, but they remain some of the least comfortable seats I’ve owned.

I have put almost 19K miles on my 2018 DCOR truck, with several long trips of 5 hours one way. At 5'10 and 188lbs I have been super comfortable and love the seat position. I understand that not everyone feels the same but I came from a full sized dodge ram and once I got used to the new position I think it is a lot better than the "higher" ram seat position.

Having said all that, a more adjustable seat would simply eliminate this conversation...so get on it TOYOTA!

SO TRUE OP, I hate power seats for the same reason. I’m hoping they just have that option for some model Tacoma.

The only thing that the 2020's offer that interest me is the powered driver seat:D

Well My Wife is 5'2" and Im only 5'7" with long legs and short torso so I need the seat back do to my legs and as I set it back it drops farther and farther down. So where I fell most comfortable with my arms and legs I cant see over the damn dash or scoop on the hood! IT SUCKS! My wife has to have the seat all the way forward to reach the pedals and she said she has a hard time seeing over the scoop as well. When she test drove it she didnt really notice it till the drive home (TO LATE IT WAS OURS!) so I have to come up with some way to fix this situation lol.
I also have to agree the seat is very uncomfortable the lumbar is a joke and I WILL NOT TAKE IT ON ANY LONG TRIPS that will be done in my Ram 3500 witch on the contrary I love the seat and the position of it as well as I have power pedals memory seat and all that. Its a limited with all the good stuff lol. (Purchased used with 29,000 miles not new) I have also found the Radio very annoying why cant you just have the damn radio on the screen?? Why does it have to be Radio and Nav or Radio and phone? About the dumbest thing on the truck. Oh and after sitting in the parking lot with my son waiting on the wife in a store I found you cant roll the windows up or down or open the sunroof in the accessory key position! Now I have had well over 30 new and used cars and trucks over the years and I have to say this is one of the dumbest things I have seen. My wife loves Toyota trucks and she comes from an all Toyota driving family I have kept her out of them the last 12 years as I dont care for them. I am very open minded but the more I use this truck the more it annoys me. Coming from a lower end GT Durango to this Im very disappointed in this truck. Fit and finish is nice but the quality of the materials used is poor. For 47,9?? I expect a lot better. My Ram Power wagon was more comfortable radio far easier to use (They even let you save favorite artist and songs on the damn thing!) Our 2016 Challenger was the most comfortable car I have ever owned (I will be getting another one in the Future) The only truck I have had that Id say this is better than is my 2010 F250 Super cab now that was a turd all around lol.
Im not bashing here the trucks nice love the color love the lockers and its off road ability that best guess we will use once a year at best. OH another thing if this is an off road truck why the heck does it come cheesy street tires?
I was not there when the wife looked at or purchased this truck as I didnt care to go, I wanted her in the New Jeep Gladiator or another ram 1500, She said they are all to big and I honestly dont car for the new Ranger or the Colorado/Canyon (to many recalls) so this was the last option for her. She hated the jeep and claimed it was like driving a tank (I honestly didnt think it was bad def. Road better and WAY nicer seats and Power every thing including rear window Defogger all be it was $16,000 more in the Rubicon edition.
Anyway done with my rant Im sure many will now hate me but such is life I cant lie about how I feel about this thing. I think Toyota has a long way to go to catch up with the other trucks out there. I mean other than the Recalls the Chevy and GMC Trucks were way nicer than this but also dont really offer a great off road package.
I did go into this with an open mind and I really really tried hard to like this thing (Still trying) I do like the ease of parking it and the back up cam seems to work really well at night and I locked the diffs and took it around our yard (We have 10 acres) and I have to say the thing went up and over some things I didnt think it would with these joke tires. Very impressed with that. Engine makes a lot of ticking noise in low rang though. Almost sounds like a diesel lol.
Mileage has been in the 18-19 rang witch is what I expected it to be with only a 6 speed auto.
Anyway now that I have book here Im done Im sure many have the same feelings but may not voice them here.
Power seat would be nice but I will now have to find a way (Doing a search shortly) to raise this seat
God bless you all and have a great weekend!

I've been watching the prices on the 2019 Pro's in my area. The dealers that have second stickers are starting to peel those back. For instance there is a 2019 Black Pro with MT and it had a second sticker that rattled off all the "extras" they added. MSRP is $43905 on the truck and with the extras it was listed at nearly $50,000. They had three other Pros with similar extras of about $5000 per truck. Today I log onto their site and the extra sticker on each truck has been removed. The black Pro is now sitting at $44,000 and I bet with some negotiation you could get it for much less.

As we near the release of the 2020's there will be some good deals to be had and not just on the Pro.

I am going to let the Toyota dealer decide for me. If they drop the financing to .9% or less on the 2019 AC OR M/T then they will be selling me a Tacoma this fall. If not, then I will save up for a '21 or '22.
