Ok. It's nearly time. I worked my butt off this year and I'm very close to pulling the trigger on some coilovers before the Canadian Dollar completely poops itself. Now it's time to pick a colour. Here's what I've narrowed my options down to:

    Fox 2.5's, non-resi, $1100 shipped
    Camburg 2.5's, non-resi, $1100 shipped
King 2.5's, adjustable resi, $1471 shipped
    I'd like to avoid Icon
I'm not going radflo, they seem cheap until you ask them for a shipping quote to the US border...

Those are USD prices shipped to the border. I'd buy local but it seems like it'll cost me 2x as much to do so which is basically highway robbery IMHO. I'm leaning towards the Kings because people seem to really like them. I'm also partial to the Foxes though because I like saving money and I probably don't really need resi's... plus I loved Fox shocks on my bike when I was a kid and still hold everything they make in high regard... but the adjustable dampening would be nice. If I go to resi's though I don't want Fox after a few conversations I've had on TW, seems like King is a better bang for buck at that price level.

What experiences do people have with these shocks? Anything that I wouldn't find in my months of internet research about these coilovers that I should know before buying? I'm not a "hardcore" offroader but I'm tired of my overworked 5100's. I want something that will ride better than my over compressed factory springs that will also give me gains onroad and offroad. May as well have easy rebuildability, extended travel, and height adjustment too if I'm going to blow the money on this. I want this to be the last new set of shocks my truck sees.

BTW I will also be buying new upper control arms to match the extended travel shocks... but I've decided on that brand so no need to discuss it here.
