I had a good experience with Toyo ATII's . They are quiet and worked well on dirt trails. A tire I would call not too crazy or fancy

Okay, so I've decided on the Nitto Terra Grappler G2....but I have one more question. I bought my truck used with 33000 on it. It came with Firestone Destination ATs on it measuring 265/70R17, however, the factory size on my door says the tires should be 265/65R17. Am I okay if I stick with my current size instead of the factory size? The rims are stock rims and I have not had any problems with rubbing or anything like that as far as I can tell.

Yes you'll be fine. going from 65 to 70 is a common thing.

I have a similar concern going from 265/70/16 to a Toyo 265/70/18. I'm not sure it will fit even tho I put in Bilstein shocks with a2.5" level. Anyone know where I could find that info?

KO2's are the most over rated tires on earth. Not a BAD tire, but far from the best. Favorite in mall parking lots.

KM2's wear fast and don't like hauling loads. Squirrelly.

STT MAXX Coopers are excellent in everything but sticky mud.

STT PRO's are Good at EVERYTHING except high miles. About 45K max from what I've seen. Like any mud tire, keep 'em balanced and rotated. My current tires. Love 'em. Will buy again.

Duratracs are GREAT if you get 4 that are round. (I didn't) Also noisy when they start getting a lot of miles on them. Rough riding.

Had a set of Yokohama Geolanders. Decent tire ON the road. Stay on the road with them.

Nitto's of all descriptions seem to wear fast from what I see. Never owned 'em, but know plenty folks that do. Not impressed.

I drive in excess of 40K miles a year. Been in 4wds for 42+ years, on my 17th 4wd, and 5th Toyota. Worn out many a tire. And I do NOT like to give up much off road ability. Prefer to listen to a little tire noise over the sound of screaming about being stuck. Also, we get more ice than snow, but enough snow to know it's more about driver than tire MOST times.

JMHO, and worth what you paid for it!

If they made the Michelin LTX A/T2 for my truck (215 70R15), I think I'd buy them. They seem like a perfect mix for our needs...

Looking for something for 95% highway with occasional offroad/pothole-strewn road use (Baja CA)...

Any recommendations? Mostly driving in Phoenix with occasional use in snow (Flagstaff)...
