    Hello everyone,

This is the set up that I have purchased from wheel4parts, but I have not installed them since the billies are out of stock until a week or two.

    -billies 5100 adjustable
    -billies 5100 rear

    And pro comp aal.

I researched throughtout the forums and asked a taco friend of mine about this set up and got a thumbs up. And seen many simple set ups by using billies and other leafs but I got this since I'm tight on money.

So my question and concern is about the pro comp aal. I heard they break in half over time and ruin the rest of the leaf set up. Thought of getting toyotec aal but since my billies are not coming I'm think of returning the pro comp and getting the toyotec if many agree to this switch.

Thank you for your time everyone Have a good one.

They're known to break if you have a worn-out leaf pack, and when wheeled. The AAL ends up taking a lot of punishment when the rest of the pack is saggy

but if your leafs are still good, the AAL should be fine, even when wheeled

I broke mine in half, but my leafs were kinda saggy and I punished them

Actually my taco has over 120k on her with stock shocks and leaf package... I inherited the truck from my parents, so being said it needs a lot of attention, and being a college student.... no cash :(

thinking of returning the pro comp and prevent from damaging the truck any further and figure out of purchasing a leaf package now.

any thoughts? Because I rather hear a lot of different opinions from most people.

a full leaf pack swap will always outperform just an AAL, especially if your leafs are already sagging

you can see where my AAL cracked in half here

which gave me an excuse to get a full new rear setup...

Are they actually sagging or just flat? Wheelers 3 leaf HD made a solid difference on my truck and is only $160.

I observed the truck, and she's not sagging nor flat. Still has an arch.
But should go head an invest in those wheelers hd leaf. And I have looked at other threads about icons/toytec progressive 3 leaf

Thank you gentleman for your time to supports decisions to taking care of my taco.

Oh damn, that would make me return the pro "crap" to 4wheelparts and get a different aal for future issues.

Thanks for the visual aid konaborne.

I'll respond back with pictures of my new set up once I get my billies and install these puppies. Have a good one
