    I like the looks of the Access Cab much better, plus I already have a SUV so wanted my Tacoma to be more in the "truck" department.

    I haul motorcycles around on the weekends so this was my main reason.

    bought mine used and the Access Cab was much harder to find. Haven't really read this thread yet, but am assuming the Double Cab has a higher resale value???

    Access Cab and short bed Double Cab have same wheelbase don't they??

    If piciking up girls is the criteria you will probably have better luck with a camaro rather than a truck. With that being said, the dc will probably turn more heads over the access cab. It does look more rugged. I just prefer the ac for its utility.
