Looks like a couple tiny spots of very minor surface rust. The replacement frame from my old Tacoma looked worse than that when i sold it.

Looks great. Dont see any actual rust other than some light surface stuff.

that frame actually looks great except for the leaf spring mount in the first pic.. from what I've read I'm pretty sure those are the first things to rust out is the front leaf mounts. i mean some of these guys literally have holes so big you can stick your finger through the frame. if it were my truck i would do something about that one rust spot though.

This is a truck I was thinking about buying.... The guy was supposed to send more pics today but I never got them. I think I'll pass on this one.

OP, that's all nothing. I just saw a truck from Maine that was really bad underneath. That all looks surface, you really should be ok

What you have pictured looks OK. There could be 14 rust holes elsewhere on the frame that aren't visible in the pictures. Do not make a purchase based off of what someone says after seeing 6 pictures of the frame on their computer screen. IMO the only way to say if it is good or not is to personally inspect it.

If it were closer I would go look in person.....It would be about a 400 miles drive one way. The part that really bothers me about this one is the fact the guy wouldn't take better pics the next day.....He had no problem taking and sending these taken at night....? Just makes me wonder. I live in Georgia and the frames I have seen on Ga trucks have been much better with no visible rust. I plan to keep this truck for a long time so I don't need any avoidable problems and I'm in no real hurry to buy.

    Thank Ya'll for the advise.

To me it looks like some oil is leaking some where? Take a look at the 4th picture down right under the steering rack. Looks like the sway bar and skid plate is covered in oil. Same with the 3rd pic. Looks like oil is spraying up or that could be tire shine but something to definitely check out

Unless there's a load in the bed, the rear springs are pretty tired.

Don't see any rust in those pictures that would concern me from a structural perspective.
