I ended up putting a Baja Designs light bar on my truck. Pricey but unbelievably bright with awesome customer service and a lifetime warranty. Friends of mine that have the cheap light bars have had nothing but problems. Condensation inside the light and LEDs that burn out happen often. Most only come with a short warranty period.

I have a few of the cheap Chinese ones. Do yourself a favor and open them up and seal everywhere with black rtv. That will keep the condensation out and you be glad you did it later. I havent had any of the 5 i bought burn out yet. Two are on the mower, lol. If i ever have the money or they burn out, i may get something better. It was pretty quick and easy to disassemble and seal.

I replied to your other post. Good thing is, if you screw up, it pulls out pretty easy. The lights dry out pretty easy too, just take them apart and set in sun for a few hours.

It's just easier to seal now rather than having to take it down and do it later.

You just pull off the front lens and seal it on the outter edge ? I assume .

I pulled off the end caps and there may have been a few screws that held the front acrylic on too, can't remember for sure. The seals it had where real shitty. I put some around the edge of the acrylic too, seems like I got the most water through there in the car washes. Just a little squeezed out and you can't see it from two feet away. If you screw up and use too much, it comes off fairly easy. I just didn't want the electronics getting wet.
