    Stock so far, lol!
My vote is for OR. I've had two so far and no complaints. My main thing was the black accents (fender wells) and getting the package that I want. Just got this beauty 2 weeks ago. OR with premium tech pkg.

For your stated needs, either will serve you like a marine.

But.... for the less apparent it’s your call.

They definitely ride differently. They look a little different. And they will perform different.

I have a weekender for when I want a stiff ride in a manual transmission. All other times I’m in my off-road. Dollar for dollar, most would agree the off-road gets you more stuff and capability.

Have you test driven both of them yet? Back to back? i was convinced I wanted the sport (I had similar requirements as you) until I test drove the OR and the decision was easy after that. If you prefer a softer ride on the road, get the OR.

Op test drive both... or sucks more uneven surfaces... sport is stiffer... I bought manual, if manual is an option for you, then manual OR would be my choice.

Like others said, at this point it wouldn’t be about the trim that you buy instead it would be if you like the trans/engine combo.. I had a 2.7 auto with auto and it was ok but tranny sometimes had brain farts and I hated it because of it... now with manual and v6 it is fun.

Test drive both and if manual is an option the test drive it too.

I wanted MT and long bed. That put me in an access cab Sport (only option). I don't really care for the stiff ride, but hope to upgrade the suspension one of these days.

    Without a question Offroad.

That larger diff and locker is worth more than anything else the sport has to offer

A Prius would handle your off road needs. Decide which one fits your style and run with it. The sport however will ride a little nicer on your actual needs.

Both come with a locker so buy the cheapest one. The shocks need to be replaced at any rate with proper 2.5” shocks with reservoirs. tires will also need to be replaced with the correct size and tread for a truck. All that gimmick crap that comes with any trd trim is a joke or not worth the cost when there are vastly superior aftermarket wheels, tires, shocks and trim features available. The only thing worth the price is that e locker for sure... So aging, find the cheapest trd possible and add non Mickey Mouse aftermarket parts as needed.

An OR can easily become a Sport.

A Sport can never become an OR.

As usual, this type thread is pretty useless for the most part as those who own Sports are going to suggest such and those with ORs are going to suggest the OR.

Only YOU can decide what YOU WANT. Go to dealership and drive both and that along with which you find more visually appealing (painted or un-painted wheel opening spats, scoop or no-scoop) and you have your answer.

Leftover 2019s in this area are diminishing with the sale prices, great rebates, and cash back. If you find one you like I would not wait too long or it may be gone. Good luck and post a pic if you get one.
