    Does that HPS intake hose really make a difference in performance or just looks nice?

    Do the deck plate mod. WAY cheaper and adds same benefit. ( Sound)

    It originated from the 1st gens. It's a boat deck plate. One part bolts to the air box and then there is a screw cover that you can take on or off allowing for more air flow. Easy as hell to do and costs almost nothing.

    I think I’ll just leave it stock. I don’t want hot air from the engine getting in. I did order the air accelerator tho. For 25 bucks it’s worth a shot. Just looking for things to add after I get my hand held and logger from OV tune. Hopefully dirty deeds exhaust will be good with the tune.

    TRD exhaust, TRD air filter, TRD OR/Sport grille, BD Squadron Sport combos/fog, Morimoto 2Stroke Hi/low, Baja Suspension Kit with TRD PRO leaf springs and Icon aal, HPS intake w/ Intake Flow Accelerator.

    Between the TRD accelerator and the HPS I think it's revs freer. I think it's less restrictive, because the intake has no ridges or baffles. Is it a gain in HP, probably not. I'm happy with the 160 I spent for both.
