I use weathertech window visors and love them.

Had a deflector on my 1st gen and have yet to see any appreciable difference against driving without one on my 2nd gen.

Lovebug season is nearly upon us again, none of those will help a bit.

Just ordered the same for my Tacoma, any tips on install? I watched the video and it looks easy enough. I would imagine the trick is setting it up just right from the edge of the hood.

Just make sure you clean the hood really well. It helps to have a second set of hands to hold the deflector in place when pulling out the plastic strips.

Finished..... I like the matte finish as it matches up nice with the fenders on the Off-Road...

AVS bug defelctor two. Part number 25681. I got it at Pepboys along with the in channel vent shades. Got them for about $80. I lightly sanded off the AVS labels and polished out the scratches. Perfectly happy, no increased interior wind noises and the bug deflector works extremely well. I saw a big difference in the amount of bugs on my windshield. Good luck and hope this helps.

Most part stores only cater the American trucks and suv’s, i did get lucky when advance auto parts had the visors instock but I’ll check around first, what grit sand paper did u use? I used the green scotch brite and then plastic polish. Took about 10 minutes on the bug shield. Worked perfect and no sign of any scratches. Looks better than the AVS engraving, looks like it's factory with no markings.

Bug deflectors look kinda ehh, but the window ones look great! Looks like I’m going with the wave here but I have the AVS in channel. I’ve had them on for over a year and absolutely love the look and the use when it’s raining so I can keep the windows cracked open.

I actually have the clear body armor on the front end from the dealer, it was a stupid option in the southeast and not sure I want to put a stick on shield and then if I have to take it off, it may take the body skin right off with it.

The dealer offered that also but I’ve seen that stuff fade or even yellow from the sun overtime! Not bad if u plan on selling the vehicle cause i looks nice longer

Is it hard to wash the underneath of the bugflector once is installed? I heard that scratches your hood overtime as well.

    Too much.
No bug deflector for me. I just wet a fabric softener sheet and erase the splats before washing my truck. I do use the AVS in channel rain guards, and removed the logos with laquer thinner
