I was just wondering what you guys thought about custom carbon fiber in a taco... I've been playing around with the idea of buying all the gear including vacum bagging to make carbon fiber parts for my interior. i don't just mean small accent pieces but everything. door panels etc.

pointless on a truck that is simply not meant to be fast. It would be purely for looks and is therefore ricer.

Just my opinion. I think it would be awesome to learn how to make carbon parts though, maybe for a bicycle or motorcycle.

Maybe for accent pieces would be alright I guess, but for the whole interior? Nope.

I know it's not going to make my truck faster. I just think it looks really good. not just honda's have it though so idk about the "ricer" term. carbon fiber comes on bikes, high end cars, the jeep concept had it on it and alot of cars have fake carbon fiber looking parts like the ford raptor.

Idk, like i said, i've just been throwing the idea around. I know its not going to make my truck any better but would carbon fiber look better than grey plastic?

I think it looks cool... from an aesthetics point of view you can do whatever you think looks cool

but as far as weight saving and performance goes, you can put eyeliner on a hippo...
    but it's still a hippo

It's obviously just for looks, why not just get like a carbon fiber wrap? It'd be way cheaper than actually making carbon fiber and then you don't have to work out all the fasteners and such. I don't know if I'd do the entire interior but I think wrapping some trim pieces could look cool.
