I personally like the roof rack, i'm trying to find one now. It makes the truck look more aggressive especially on a white truck. I love the look on wwfirefighters truck.

    Hey Wes,
Good Decision on waiting for the 2010, and you well like the TRD Sport Package, the seats are very comfortable on long trips, and about the color ...too bad you can't pick Indigo Blue..:p....and welcome to TW!!

For only $550 more, I would buy the 2010. The truck is a year newer

I've obviously decided on a 2010 model now (exactly the way I want it optioned out, DC, SB, 4x4, TRD Sport). Anyway, I didn't really want to start a new thread over this question so do you guys think that $29,823 is a good price for this truck? I'm using the USAA car buying service and dealing only with the fleet manager so it should be about the lowest I'll be able to get at the beginning of a model year run. Thoughts?

    Thanks so much,

    Wes

I don't see them budging much on the '10's right now....thanks to cash for clunkers they are selling alot of vehicles.

You can always give it a shot....

I used USAA to buy my 2009 DC TRD Sport 2WD and paid $2500 under invoice if that helps. Good luck.

Yeah they've been throwing some great deals on those '09 models but they are currently non-existent around here...that means no $1500 incentive for me. Wish I could have jumped on an '09 for a good price but Cash for Clunkers has made that impossible. My '10 is due in port on Sep 18th....I want it now!!! Suppose good things come to those who wait.

whoa I didn't realize USAA could negotiate that good! Will let them do all the work next time.

That is a great deal at $2500 under invoice.

I voted for the 2010, but I don't think it's "hideous"! I do, however, think it has a "Ford Explorer Sport-Trac" look to it.... anyone else see that, or should I stop drinking?

I like the look the roof rack brings thats currently gonna be my next purchase, it makes the trucks look more beastly but thats my opinion. But go for the 2010 because you can always add the rack later:)
