    Wrap=expensive
    Me = not wanting to spend a ton on this single cab because I will most likely trade it for an extended or sell it and get an extended cab

    Whoops, forgot to mention that I purchased the truck with the wrap. No initial $$ spent there. Got the flares wrapped for $250 picked up and delivered when completed. It was a no-brainer to colour match them. Leave the flares black. It still enhances the look of your truck.:thumbsup:

    Wow. That’s amazing how the flares reflect and turn the red canoe green...very seasonal.

    I think the black and white contrast is badass, plus I've always liked the look of the tires tucked into the fenders. :thumbsup:

    But I'm a little biased towards bushwhacker and been running them for years...

    Thanks, its been a fun 20 year journey for sure.

    Yeah, they are the 3 inch flares. The front flares had to be gutted when it was tubbed to fit 35's but even though they don't shrug the mud off like they used to they still do a good job.

    I'll be the odd one out, I prefer the clean look without the flares better, and besides who doesn't want to make a mess? So what you spend a couple more dollars at the car wash to get dirt off your roof, worth it IMO

    You asked for opinions so here's mine. The truck is reasonably substantial mainly because of its length, but it's too darn narrow at a mere 70" WITH flares...and take away the flares, you lose the only "muscular" lines they added to the body. Besides that I personally don't care for the "nubs" people put in the stud holes after flares are gone. You can tell "something definitely belonged there" and now that "something" is woefully missing.

    My truck had fender flares since my dad bought it new. After I bought it, my dad took the flares off because I really didn't like the look of them. I was sick after seeing what the rear flares had been hiding! My dad's friend who does body work ended up cutting out the rust and welding in new metal. He did a great job and only charged me $250! The flares are not going back on my truck. Fender flares will do more harm than good if they're not ever taken off to clean where they trap dirt and in some cases road salt.IMG_7281.jpg IMG_7279.jpg IMG_7283.jpg IMG_8763.jpg IMG_8765.jpg

    That's a very good point actually that many owners ought to take a look at regularly to catch anything before it starts, helluva friend to charge that little. Looks great:cool:

    Are my eyes paying a trick on me or are your tires red in the last picture?

    Yep. I was going to say the no fenders looked clean, but the I saw the fenders weren't the big ones and I really liked the look. It just looks sort of "finished."
