I think it sounds like a pretty awesome deal man! Jump on it!

I agree to try to lower the price, but keep in mind y'all are in different locations. Prices change greatly based on location. Also, although you might have wanted the aftermarket mods that the previous owner had, they technically do lower a vehicle's value because the vast majority of owners aren't going to want mods, or maybe not the same brand mods, etc. That's awesome that you got such a killer deal with what you wanted though man :D

x2. Maybe not $1,500, but caps are expensive. And you rarely find used ones in a "non-beat-to-shit-condition." (At least around here.)

:yay: You'll be happy you got a 1st gen

As far as the belt squeal goes...have it looked at for peace of mind but I know my truck sounds terrible in the cold weather and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, as soon as the weather warms up all is quiet. Just a quirk on some of these trucks.

Yea I really like look of the tundra/sequoia wheels too. Need some new rubber around em tho! I've wanted a tacoma for so long, didn't think I could afford to get a double cab but this one was perfect and popped up on craigslist right after my frontier sold...tacoma destiny haha

That truck is NICE. The color, the wheels, and the topper makes a sweet combination. I agree on the tires. Get some Goodyear Duratracs that will look like a beast!

And removing the running boards...and take off stupid deer whistles lol. Wheels def coming asap; got myself stuck in the snow around noon today...got a lil too excited n went a little too far while creating new roads lol. Had to walk back down to the highway n catch a ride to town. Cool thing about this story is that the guy who ended up pulling me out owns a offroad shop in town...he said to hit up whenever I want to start fixin my truck up and he'll hook me up :D
