Opinions on the Pioneer AVIC-X920BT

I have a great Eclipse HU right now that sounds AWESOME...
It does just about everything - I even have an HD tuner.
My only complaint is that it does not have Bluetooth.
I really need this feature because I drive all day for work & am constantly burning up the phone. ( Yes I tried a PARROT set, but it did not work real well)
I'm looking at the Pioneer AVIC-X920BT
Does anyone have one & want to share their thoughts???

The money would be better spent on a good hands free set. The integrated blue tooth is ok but its not the best

 

i'm getting one installed on halloween when its all done i will post pics and let you know what i think of it. i'm sure it will be great.

 

i have the pionoeer avic F900BT and im sure the 920 isnt much difference, i had the bluetooth in my altima and it was great, clear sound, person on other end could hear me great

however on the pioneer, im not sure if it was the microphone, or the unit, but the bluetooth and voice recognition sucks. i completely removed the microphone from the install of the unit and dont use it anymore...if youre gonna spend your money for the sole reason of the bluetooth function, i would just get a handsfree headset...unless youre just looking for a good excuse for a new HU

I Have the 910bt in my truck. I think the 920 is the next gen. It has great sound and I love the bluetooth, not had a problem with it. DVD, SDHC card, backup camera and USB work great as well. Now for the bad, It takes about 30 seconds to start after starting the truck. At first it got on my nerves a little, now I've had it 7 or 8 months and I'm used to it. But to some, that may be a dealbreaker.

I accidentally found a cool feature on my phone (DroidX). I had it plugged into the 3.5 mm jack in my head unit listening to Pandora. It rang, and when I answered with it still plugged in it played the person's voice through my stereo. They could hear me fine just with the phone down in the cup holder. Maybe try it for awhile...

 

I had the F90 and it was slow to boot, have the 920 now thanks to Amazon and 30% off and it boots fast, I am just out of my driveway and it is up, very fast and sound is great, got the axxess steering wheel input and did the bluetooth keypad project and am very happy for once.
